So upping the prices of blu rays + p&p is £3 with no free delivery for x amount spent (unless they haven't updated that yet).
I still think the company is great and will continue to get their releases but unfortunately it'll have to be exclusively through Amazon. Which is a shame because their loyalty program was fantastic but they've effectively nuked it

I watched Dolls by Takeshi Kitano (on DVD, the transfer was also v good for SD) yesterday I thought it was wonderful stunning cinematography and very poignant

I have actually seen some of that one and it's on my mental list of things to finish one day - though I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, I didn't hate it either and I would like to see the rest
Artwork has been revealed for the upcoming Blu-ray box set of Nobuhiko Obayashi’s Anti-War Trilogy, coming 13th December 2021 from Third Window Films.
Alongside Hanagatami (which was previously released by them last year) are Casting Blossoms to the Sky (includes 45 minute Interview with Nobuhiko Obayashi) and Seven Weeks (includes 75 minute Making of).
The box set will also be packaged similarly to the Toshiaki Toyoda collection which is a digipack and will also include a booklet by historian Aaron Gerow.
Rather delayed but worth the wait. Here's the latest on the Asian Cinema schedule for this forum!
