Heh, I had no idea either until Charter Mage called it one, so I just went along with that. :wink:

Thankyou, and yeah, I made those eyes a while ago. They're quite odd, but I like drawing them. And I like the shaded bit in them.

I've attached to this post the first sketch I ever did with those eyes. One of my favourites. :D

As i just told necromancer, a puffy is just a puff, i just called it that because it's sweet, and well, puffy :) .

Nice girl with messy hair, especially good for five minutes, when i do stuff it takes me forever. I love the eyes same as necromancer, and i really loved the drawing of the kid, so sweet and very good :)

Yeah, that drawing of the kid is probably my favourite sketch. The only problem is that I don't seem to be able to draw him now, his face and jaw always turns out different, so It looks like an older version of him - which I suppose isn't too bad, but I want to be able to draw him the original way too! :p

This is how I can draw him most of the time :wink: :

I know what you mean, thats something i'm reallt trying to work on myself, i want to do my own manga, but i find it hard drawing the same character more than once. Still a good drawing you've got there though, think you just need to make the jaw a bit wider and flatter :)

Yeah, I actually quite like this drawing now - and I could use it as an older version of the character.
And yeah, the jaw is too narrow and 'pointy', I also think the eyes are a bit too small. Keeping that in mind, I might have another go at the original later, I love that one. :D
 
Hmm....I was looking at my sketch of that girl with messy hair, and decided that something wasn't quite right with it. The way all her hair was behind her just looked odd to me, so I've changed her hair. :p

I'm always looking for constructive criticism; just tell me what you think. Such as there are too many lines in her hair, or I've missed something. Or just give me some ideas that you think would be good to add to the picture. :wink:

I would but it looks weird with a missing hand, lol.

Hmm... I decided to have a proper look through this thread for once. And I'm glad that I did because I never realised before that Charter_Mage had a deviantart page! :)

Your eyes are very well drawn and coloured - my favourite is the fairy eye, and your cat girl line-art is very well done. I especially like the way you drew the ringlets in her hair.

I loved your shading on the drawing with the butterfly. You'll have to give me a few tips. :lol:

Yes, I think you have quite a good style too. I like the little comic, most of all. :lol:
 
I always feel my deviant art gallery is lacking now a day, especially compaired to everyone else there, but thank you very much for all your comments Daz, your very kind :D .

Hmm, both very good.:D

The only thing I would mention - some constructive criticism, if you don't mind - is that the legs of "birthday list girl" are in a very difficult position (though, I do know a girl who can do that :lol:) and I'm not actually sure whether she's jumping, or sitting - though that is mainly because of no background.

Just my thoughts :wink:

I'll see all you art people some time on Sunday or Monday, as I'm off to Wales tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll bring a few drawings back ;).
