Why don't we have this thread broken down into threads for different top 10s then? That way it will be easier to compare other people's lists and it will be easier to keep track of which lists people have done.

As much as I know your last statement is factually correct, I think people are generally OK with "counting" Nausicaa. Cagliostro I agree should not really be on any lists.

Honestly struggling to think of more, I try to avoid watching new stuff to avoid disappointment when it's not released :p Unless it's something I really like the sound of.

(For Japan the list would be full of obscure LD-only stuff so I chose to limit the scope.)

Funimation are sitting on a lot of things I want like Shiki/SenBasa/Hetalia/Kuroshitsuji but I have faith they will eventually manage to get them out. Hopefully before I have died of old age. Kaiji and X-Men would also be very welcome but I didn't want to copy ideas.

Wow I just read AF's list, those Negima titles look like they are even more ridiculous then the ones I wrote. It could almost be jamaican patois

Dear God man, no wallet could withstand expense of that magnitude! D=

I don't even like to get the entireity of a series if I'm not overly fond of the second half or whatever. I've bought Hellsing Ultimate 1 and 2 but have passed on the others. Same with Gundam 00, I've got season one, probably won't buy two, but I need to rewatch it to be sure. It's not that either are bad, but I've realised that it's senseless to spend a lot of money on something that you think is "only ok" rather than "great" or "very good".

i dont buy them all at once, i buy them in moderation like one or two series once a week or something like that.
