Anime on Demand have announced that Un-Go and Mirai Nikki are the first two titles in their Autumn line-up, with at least here more to be announced over the next week:

1) Un-Go
2) Mirai Nikki
3) Persona 4

Un-Go
Un-Go is the latest anime from acclaimed animation studio, Bones’, and is based on  a series of original detective stories named Meiji Kaika Ango Torimonochou by Ango Sakaguchi, a post-World War II essayist and novelist. The story takes place in the near future and centres on a detective named Shinjūrō Yūki and a boy named Inga who work together solving mysteries surrounding their circle of friends.

Mirai Nikki
Mirai Nikki has been adapted from the manga Future Diary by Sakae Esuno. The story centres on a high school student named Amano Yukiteru who has problems making friends. Feeling divorced from the world he writes down everything he observes in his mobile phone diary. Tormented by his solitude he begins to imagine things like having a friend named Deus Ex Machina, the Lord of Time and Space. Seeing Yukiteru’s unhappiness prompts Deus to give Amano a new ability. His diary will now record events that  will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which will decide who will become the successor of Deus.

It is due to start streaming from Sunday the 9th of October and will run across the Autumn and Winter seasons.

Persona 4
When Yu Narukamiʼs family moves to the rural country town of Inaba, heʼs expecting a lot more peace and quiet than heʼs been used to in the big city. Instead, the peace has been shattered as a rash of mysterious murders and kidnappings sweep the countryside. With the police stymied, Yu finds himself joining with a group of eight other teenagers in a desperate bid to solve the mystery. A mystery that is somehow connected to both the local weather patterns and a strange video game world which Yu, his friends and the enigmatic killer can all enter. Journey beyond the Velvet Room as the hit PlayStation 2™ game becomes a spectacular anime in Persona 4 The Animation!

Starting soon then from every Friday evening onwards, the series will stream every week on Anime on Demand. Further release details to be announced very shortly.

Looking forward to this, still not entirely clear on the "banana phone" clue, though.

Does someone want to re-title this thread to "AnimeOnDemand Fall 2011 lineup" or something, so we don't end up with individual threads of three posts each for every show?

Basically because they use their mobile phones a lot in the show - kind of like Death Notes but not quite...

That'd be a good plan...

I was nodding my head thinking "this sounds interesting" up until

makes him take part in a battle royale with 11 others, known as the "Diary Game", where contestants are given special diaries that can predict the future. Within the next 90 days, the contestants must try to kill each other until there is only one left - the winner becoming the new God of Time and Space.

 , great another Battle Royale rip with a hint of death note thrown in for good measure, how original.... This sounds to me like one of those "worst kind of anime plots" plot.

I haven't read much of it personally, but the manga for Mirai Nikki tends to be well regarded, so I wouldn't discount it just yet.

I read basically all the manga - it's actually extremely good which was why I pursued it :).

Future Dairy is basically extreme speed death note.

The number of people who are desperate to mold the Sharky and George hint into Persona 4 speaks volumes to the number of people who don't want that airing on Zombie ADV's service.

"Sharky & George - the crime busters of the sea. Sharky & George - clear up any mystery"

Has to be UN-GO which unfortunately doesn't have any deep-sea fish detectives (I think)  :(

Squid Girl like one or two people have said it could be it, but that seems tOo FISHY to me!
