I'm not overly interested in Banana Fish, but this is so nice to see after that **** Amazon pulled with the atrocious AI dub about a year ago.

Anime Limited brings BANANA FISH to the UK, North America and France – All the Anime

Banana Fish is coming to Netflix on the 12th of August, Anime Limited is also releasing the show on Blu-ray in the UK, Ireland, France and North America in early 2027, promoting the dubs that Netflix will have in both English and French.

Woh, I'm excited about this! have not watched it yet, but I've heard good things about it, and I think it might transport me back a bit to the times I was secretly swooning over BL).

Nuts to Banana Fish-what I (and a lot of others) am waiting for them to announce is the bd release of Blood+. I have both us dvd sets of the series but I'd really like to see it on bd seeing as the jpbd isn't english friendly.

Nuts to Banana Fish-what I (and a lot of others) am waiting for them to announce is the bd release of Blood+. I have both us dvd sets of the series but I'd really like to see it on bd seeing as the jpbd isn't english friendly.

I mean as I sit here waiting for SEED Freedom to release and Hathaway to get a confirmed date, I'm happy to hear this is the kind of project AL are spending time on. That AI dub Amazon made for Banana Fish was terrible so the industry clapping back and giving it proper treatment is great to see.

I like what I like but I still respect the wider sphere.

My reaction to Anime Limited commissioning the Banana Fish dub themselves made me go:
"Ohhh, our little Anime Limited is all grown up!"

Still progressing slowly but surely - no ETA on it currently, but it very much hasn't been forgotten.

Funnily enough we've actually just this week received approval on this, so this should be slotting into the schedule for later in the year.

It's another big project so it's taking a while, but definitely progressing pretty well just now, so hopefully more news soon!

I wasn't going to take any chances, like I did with the sound of euphonium series , and ended up paying stupid money for the awesome CE for season one and the steel book for season 2 (don't think there was a CE for that one?) from Sentai
