GUNDAM
About (Gun)damn time.

Not an Ultimate (teacher) Edition?

I have Gibiate in my to-watch pile. Don’t think I have King's Game, while Ex-Arm wasn’t cheap, so… I’ll evaluate.
I did look up Ex-Arm on AL’s site, and the synopsis is just random confusion. Admittedly a lot of anime synopsis’ seem to fail at actually describing suitably or correctly, but that one seems to be in the “special” category.
Ok, so I’m now trying to get through Gibiate.
There’s not really anything to recommend it, is there? It doesn’t deserve to exist, let alone have a physical release, let alone have a CE, let alone have a CE with some actual extra bits.

I’m just going to say that it’s akin to one of those early year school plays that you can only appreciate in any way if you’re the parent of one of those involved.
You know; it’s supposed to be a nativity scene - except little Johnny and friends will only play as ninjas, so the teacher’s given up on anything except trying to get them on and off stage in approximate sequence as quickly as possible. But having them scream some made-up power-move names and have a ninja gunfight with “Joseph” (better than swords, I guess?) just ends up with “Mary” starting to cry in the middle of the stage while holding the decapicated head of baby “Jesus” by its long blonde hair (she pulled all the limbs off earlier).
Yep. That’s about right. I get why a parent would want to take a video of their little darling “performing” their heart out, but making other people watch it (can you demand they enjoy it?) is a definite no.

Let's just say there's a reason it's the lowest rated series with full length episodes on MAL, even lower than EX-ARM.
