UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

PS:
@Hanny, there is an additional, somewhat minor issue I am unsure if you can correct, to go alongside my Cyberpunk CE 8th query/delay suspicion (is it still on time/just as planned?): the Devilman leaflet-thing has a... typo?, and an incorrect run-time for good measure as 10 episodes<<<>>>119 minutes does not go, even in my math-addled brain.
I'm not sure why the image is sideways, my sincere apologies for this. Please turn your head/phone.

Granted, some might throw the leaflet away, eager to behold their textured square. But not I! No, given my average word count, I was instantly drawn to the 25 words--they took me back to my days spent attempting to cram mini-reviews into MAL list tags. BUT THEN, my 👀 s were drawn to... "demon-boU". This momentarily stumped me as to what a 'bou' is, till it dawned on me: it's either a 'U' or a 'Y'; without its bottom end.

The description also reads very...rushed. Whilst I understand the historical terminology, in a modern anime watcher context a "degenerate war" still makes one envision 4chan as opposed to the final battle between man and demonbou-kind.
A man can do a lot with small spaces, and surely something along the lines of 'In this reimagining of a classic that inspired a generation, Masaaki Yuasa woves friendship, lust and gore as the line between man and beast is irrevocably blurred' - I had to cheat with a few extra words, but the point remains.

'Tis most like much too late to do anything, much like with re-sizing the square so I'm not left with three AL squares of differing sizes, but this is all I can do. The rest, I leave to you.

Is the character a young boy?
Is bou not an addition suggesting familiarity.
The online store text uses “demon-boy” in the same synopsis. It’s just lack of proof-reading on one or the other.

And if we’re looking at episode runtimes, try Deiji Meets Girl. That’s 12 episodes for a total of 24 minutes.

All Gundam series usually had Part 1 with a Box & Part 2 with an Amaray and a booklet / artbook.
Most Gundam series were like 50 episodes, so splitting it into 2 parts was quite reasonable - I mean most other series were only like 12 episodes per set for the same price per unit.
I learned something. I think. :)
I’ll forget it again soon enough.

I’d find that incredibly annoying. But I’m not (yet) any form of captive Gundam fan - I’ve got a shelf-and-a-half of Gundam titles from AL, but haven’t watched a single series yet.
In this case, it turns out I have indeed got the UEs of the Seed series. But I’m quite confident that those were a single SKU (just bigger still with the SD discs and hard book), so splitting it up for the CE version just seems strange.

Does anyone have information on how quickly orders placed will ship out?

We're currently asking customers to allow additional time for shipment of orders due to an incredibly busy Christmas period and a large number of pre-order products which also need to be shipped. At this time we don't have an ETA on any specific orders, but any orders will be shipped as soon as possible.

Pre-order shipments are still on-going currently (there is a lot of Arcane Collector's sets to ship), and we're expectign Cyberpunk to arrive on Monday all being well (delivery was delayed due to staff sickness at the company shipping to us), but after that Christmas sale order shipping will commence.

Huh, nobody in UK got their Christmas sale orders by now?
I thought some would arrived at their addresses by now since this would be day 8.
How long do people normally get their items without shipping delays, 3 or 4 days?
