Perhaps it's because Outlaw Star is a 12 year-old series and, rightly or wrongly, older shows tend to be perceived as having less value.Durial666 said:Lets take a look at Manga UK's future release of Baccano! 16 episodes at a RRP of £39.99. Do I hear complaints for that? No? I thought not.
This I agree with, the shows that were released new under it in the US (Sola, True Tears) still kept the same price structure. If it's not £25 RRP (or under), don't put it under the cheap product line.ConanThe3rd said:I say if your going to send it out as something that's going to be £40 then remove the anime legends label from it. It's going to dilute the idea of that label being a "Platimum" line for anime.

The Anime Legends line in the US has RRP's ranging from $20-50. The majority of releases falling into two distinct price points; $39.99 and $49.99. I fail to see how Bandai US having multiple price points in the line doesn't detract it from being a 'cheap product line', but it would for Beez? Let's not loose our heads; the proposed prices are still extremely competitive.
