Anime at the cinema

ADN and CGR Events (Apollo Films) have signed a deal for the European distribution of ADN's 2026 cinema line-up. The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie and Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time are also part of the deal CGR Events et ADN signent un accord pour la distribution cinéma

I bought a ticket for the Friday screening in the Netherlands, but I'm not thrilled that CGR/Apollo is involved after their terrible handling of the Dutch release of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX: The Beginning.

Just got home from seeing Another World in the cinema. What. A. Film. I absolutely loved the characters and story, I got a bit emotional at moments. One of the big plot points near the end made me audibly gasp... I covered my mouth as soon as I realised and got worried I was a bit too loud lol.

Also just saw the news the Dragon Maid movie is coming to cinemas... and I just watched it last week as it came out on streaming in Japan. Wish I had waited on watching it so I could have had my first experience be on the big screen, but even then I think I might use this as an excuse to re watch it. I really hope they bring the Zombie Land Saga movie to cinemas over here now...

Are you talking about Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid-A Lonely Dragon Wants To Be Loved? That came out over 5 months ago and I watched it dubbed in a theater near me back then.

Yes I am. It just got released on digital in Japan so I watched it as soon as I could (vpn). It's only now coming to cinemas in the UK which is what I was talking about, I was so gutted when I saw it get announced for all those other countries lol I couldn't contain myself when it released on digital/streaming.

I would assume so givem the FDA, there are posters up at my local Cineworld that just say "Coming Soon", although Cineworld have posted a blog about February releases and it's included huh lol this seems to be removed. Guess that'll be March then. We'll know for sure later today when next week's cinema schedules go up - but I'd have expected this to have prebooking so Feb seems unlikely.
