Addicted to ecchi!

I don't think high amounts of ecchi are the problem. How the ecchi is used is the real issue.

For example, Kekko Kamen is about a heroine that jumps around naked, only wearing a mask and boots. The sheer absurdity of the series is what seems to carry it very well. Rui, I know you like some Go Nagai stuff, so you should watch it.

What makes it better is that Hilary Haag voices the tentacle wielding robo chick. I imagine Tessa Testarossa saying some that girl's lines and it makes me lol.

I adore Kekko Kamen! It's a brilliant idea. I have the OAV and the live action movies on DVD :)

Awesome theme song too. Go Nagai has guts.

Live action movie, eh? I might just buy it.

What surprises me is how easily avilable Kekko Kamen is. I've seen it sitting in the anime section of a few HMVs. However, what I don't get is why it's an 18, when garbage like Elfen Lied get a 15 age certificate. Kekko Kamen isn't even THAT sexual. Elfen Lied is super violent and the nudity is more sexual.

Saw it for £2.99/€3.99 at Play after reading this thread, and being a fan of "campy" stuff I just had to buy it.
