A whole new era for the physical distribution of anime? Yes!

Dont get me wrong i also got FLCL but u have to question them realeasing it on the same day as somthing that a load of people want and is better value for money.

Niche shows like FLCL can't ever really compete with things like the loaded multidisc shounen jump series Manga is churning out. I paid an awful lot more for FLCL back when I got it than Death Note costs now but don't consider it a waste.

Even if they put every episode of FLCL on one disc and sold it at half the normal price it would seem Death Note was a better deal to most people...so I'd prefer they released FLCL in a way that lets them actually try to make some money so we can get more niche shows over here pronto.

Well said Rui. I can't really talk like as I'm waiting for the boxset. But if I weren't, then I'd defintaley whip flcl up.

The Odeon cinema in Gilford, Surry has the only one of these in the UK. I've yet to see it, but |I'm told by my coleagues who have that they didn't realise they were looking at HD vision until one of the staff told them what it was. It was that close to 35mm film.

That's my local cinema, i've been in each screen and never noticed any difference..
