5 Other ISP's Issue Warnings to Illegal Music Downloaders

For yers now the industery has lost millions thru people not buying a cd which has no doubt contributed to the current economic problems.

People complain about current food prices. I wonder how much moneys worth they have saved over the past 6 years by downloading.
 
Did anyone here even get a letter from Virgin?
I didnt. Though to be fair, i dont download much music [and i've turned to itunes much more because of this]. It seems were still pretty safe downloading anime then.

The rising prices of residence has risen to its peak, it happens every few times in every lifetime. it reaches a peak and then starts to plummit because nobody can afford it.
The banks have recently being going through a major crisis with money. the stock exchange is also partly to blame with that.
the price of living has increased because of the government.
The immigrants are to blame for the government claiming more and more vat and tax off the general public. the lazy bastards who claim benefits, are all to blame also. it was only a matter of time until everything piled up and burst. the credit crunch is that burst...

Illegal downloads have nothing to do with the credit crunch and therefore saying "For yers now the industery has lost millions thru people not buying a cd which has no doubt contributed to the current economic problems." is wrong. the music industry has lost out. the economic industry is ****** for other reasons.

And no I am not a fan of illegal download music I hold nothing against u or anyone else on here personaly but what gives people the right to steal someones hard work.........Then again I go to a fansub group every tuesday and I would say about 10 of the series I have watched since going there i havnt brought (due to them being rubbish but at the end of it all i still stole it) so im not complete angel. But i certanlly buy music albums still which have come down in price over the past 5 years.

And belive it or not apart from the fansub group I go to on a tueday I have not watched a single full series on the net. I dunno thats just me.

Another wthin if people cant pay$1.99 (which i can find lying round the house)for an episode of sites like funimation and carry on to download illegally then they are bigger penny pinchers than scrooge and are not real anime fans.
 
The way I see it, the Internet has been like a digital version of the Wild West for the past ten years or so, with people being able to get away with just about anything.

Enjoy it while it lasts, but it's only a matter of time until the Sheriff rides into town...

Nah don't worry bout it mate,
I'll admit that i download music, but similarly i have a large collection of Cd's. And yes if i sold my songs and then had alot my music distributed online for free and i didn't recieve a penny i'd be pretty pissed off too. but them things are pretty much unstoppable.
 
U know i have just signed up to CR to read some of the comments (no i havnt turned to the darkside) And i was reading comments about xamd which.

a, u can purchase of ps3 network for £1.99 (which some people on there have)

b, has come out 4 months before japan

Despite this people still decide to steal it off CR but what got me the most was people sayin how xamd was slightly off sync. How on earth can they have the gaul to complain about somthing when u can get for pittance and 4 months before japan.

Most of the people on there aint real anime fans they just watch it because its there.

P.S im going to berate the owners on there now to get my account banned from there.
 
I might suggest to my fansub group that they give a bit of money to the likes of funimation channels which charge $1.99 an episode..........theres 40 of us turn up every week we pay £1.50 each (£20 paying to rent the room) the rest goes into whatever they need (they dont embezzle it.)

Might be an idea for all fansub clubs up and down the country to do that (assuming they can give a bit off money out to the official companys I know we certanly can)

Thing is though, we download it because we cant afford it. No one likes to buy blind.

Its not 'stealing someones hard work' though. Alot of these people have thier songs written for them if we refer to pop music. Also I wouldnt be into some of my favorite bands if it werent for the wonders of downloading them without paying. I mean I got into MCR through downloading, ive gone on to buy every vinyl they have released, several tee's and been to see them twice. They've made a nice profit from me, considering I wouldnt have listened to em if I hadnt downloaded them. Children Of Bodom, Megadeth, Metalica and more, I buy thier Tee's cause I love thier music. How did I find them? Through downloads.

Its great you buy music albums, it really is, but alot of bands dont NEED the funds. Look at how many buisness' were put out of work with the rising price of just petrol. How many bands have had to stop touring for similar reasons? And they are lugging all thier equipment, and using COACHES to get around? They dont seem to be too hurt and we're downloading thier music. I dont think the music industry is being hit TOO badly, do you?? Millions is alot to us, but evidently, not as much to them. Think about the "Industry" is losing millions, thats how many labels? That "Millions" is divided up alot you know.
 
You cant afford £1.99 for a cd and u dowload it cuz u dont want to buy blind????? I guess radios dont excist anymore? I keep hearing this crap of how people cant afford it even a damn episode at £1.99 being realeased 4 months before japan Im on just bove nat min wage like most ppl in this country and i can afford a £40 box set let alone dowloading it for less money and still buy clothes and food but people are stuck in the ways of making crap excuses to download anime illegally they see it as worthless

There used to be 3 record shops in my town 8 years ago there are now none
