Dragon Ball Kai Canada/UK Dub coming

I hope they bring Ted Cole back as Yamcha and Android 17--I thought he was absolutely stellar. I'd love for Krillin to be voiced by the guy who played him in the Dragonball Blue Water dub; it was a nice and modest voice. Granted, the Blue Water and main Ocean voices don't cross over all that...

Dragon Ball Kai Canada/UK Dub coming

You're a star--that's just the one! Thanks a million! Really stirring stuff; there really was nothing quite like Dragonball Z. That bit of music engenders everything the show felt like for me, communicating such a tangible sense of magnitude.

Dragon Ball Kai Canada/UK Dub coming

During the lead-up to CNX, I think, there was a Dragonball Z promo set to some stirring operatic music; it had female vocals, I believe. I so desperately want to track that one down--it really got you in the mood for the show's return.

Dragon Ball Kai Canada/UK Dub coming

Dragon Ball La quête finale Des sept boules de cristal Venues des étoiles Dragon Ball Pour un idéal Combat glacial Du Bien contre le Mal I used to sing that all the time in French class to assist in "getting in the mood."

Dragon Ball Kai Canada/UK Dub coming

I just think this is completely unnecessary. Most Dragonball Z video-games, over here, have possessed the FUNimation voice-cast; I hoped that would lead to said voice-cast providing the dub for the U.K. The voice-directors were quite correct about Mr. Morrow, mind; he does sound a bit too...

MANGA UK: To Shortly Announce New Licenses for Early 2011?

Wouldn't it be nice if, at the tail-end of all the announcements, when all hope seems lost, Manga UK victoriously declares One Piece primed for release in the United Kingdom! :x

Adventure/Journey shonen Manga's like ONE PIECE?

I've only read a very small part of it--so I can't affirm that it fulfills your criteria--but Toriko really looks like it's shaping up to be something special. For me, it actually fills a bit of the gaping whole left by Hunter x Hunter's absence. You've probably tried it, mind, but I'm...

Pretty Cure to be shown on PopGirl in the UK

Is Pretty Cure heavy on the merchandising? The voice cast looks like something from Blue Water Studios, which suggests that it might not be. If this is the case, then I'm very slightly reassured; most anime we receive on television in the U.K. is usually geared towards selling a toy or product...

    Anime OST's

Though it can become "samey" at times, I'd also suggest tracking down the works of Kow Otani--the guy behind Outlaw Star's OST. I wouldn't attest that it's the best of stuff, but it possesses a flair that always feels unique to Otani.

    Anime OST's

Although I was so furiously critical of its music initially--and I would argue that was with due justification--the second Naruto Shippuden OST has some exceptional compositions on it. It's such a staggering step-up from the first OST that if almost beggars belief; no longer are compositions...

    Anime OST's

I prefer not to listen to them. It only reminds me of extortionate shipping costs. I'm a sucker for nice cover art. I hate the music in FMA: Brotherhood, but the OSTs have sublime covers, and I couldn't help but pursue the whole blinkin' collection. By contrast, the upcoming Pocket...

    Beyblade Metal Fusion

Watch out for the English voicework in this new series; it isn't a patch on the old one, which seems really quite professional by comparison. I've found this new season to be rather difficult to adjust to as a consequence, though the characters have been responsible in equal measure.

    One Piece OP13

Though it may well be a consequence of its length, I just don't get a sense of oomph from it; it feels too protracted to allow one concerted catharsis--which is a bit of a shame, though it's something I've felt ever since the seventh opening. I do long for the days of the fifth and sixth...

UK Dragon Ball or One Piece release

Re: Uppa shakes his head; the vegetables have been overcooke :o Excellent; not too long to wait! Provided I don't falter and go for the French release, that is. I've avoided the 'Orange Bricks'--so I'm close to making the Dragon Boxes a worthwhile investment...but the French boxes are...

UK Dragon Ball or One Piece release

Uppa shakes his head; the vegetables have been overcooked. As a side-note, I've got the most sensational urge to watch the Boo sagas. Can't wait for the Dragon Box releases covering that portion of the series, though I'm oddly tempted by the French release.

    Upcoming UK Anime DVD Artwork!

Ironically, the box-art's just about the only thing I can use to justify buying that batch of episodes! Pity I'm an early adopter, mind--though I'm thankful for Manga's generous pricing with these! Thankfully, I'm in the happy position of being no longer obliged to purchase any more of the...

UK Dragon Ball or One Piece release

The general consensus over on Arlong Park is suggesting that the cost of the licenses for both series is really much too vast, at present, to consider a domestic release. The situation's looking a right mess, all told. :( Manga UK's been giving it a solid shot, mind...

    Upcoming UK Anime DVD Artwork!

I'm really liking the look of that Shippûden box-art. I suspect it helps that I'm fond of Deidara as a character--though I feel the illustration is strong enough to prove convincing when taken in isolation, even in the absence of my personal bias. I'm pleased to see him champion the second...

Five Plus Points, Five Negative Points -- 9-10/10's

HUNTERxHUNTER Rated: 9/10 +1: Director Furuhashi pulls no punches in injecting his own flavour into this anime adaptation: he takes the characters, fearlessly, and pushes them in directions that threaten to subvert expectations set by the manga--yet he pulls this off with remarkable success...
