I understand my use of the word 'unlicensed' may have been misinterpreted. This is what I meant:
I mean small press stuff, as in manga or small comics that are not licensed by large companies such as Tokyopop.
They either self publish or are published by a small company such as Sweatdrop.

Do you guys read much unlicensed manga? I have been recently and now have a feature on my site which focuses on it.
If you do then which ones do you recommend? Also, how do you feel about unlicensed manga? Do you think it is worth the money?
I would just like to add that this is a wonderful site to buy any gift from. Your friend, family member or even you will not regret buying from Keep It Secret.
Plus the staff are uber friendly!
I am hoping this is okay with the forum rules.
Hello everybody,
My name is Gina Lucia and I run a site called Anime Picks. We specialise in all things anime and manga and post regular news, reviews and articles on the subject.
We are always looking for writers to post guest articles so...
I think quite a few of you have taken what I have said completely the wrong way!
I am not forcing her, I am simply introducing her to it, I am asking what you think the best way to do this is.
I know fair well that people are entitled to their own opinion, I have grown to accept that over...
I am currently having a problem with a house mate of mine, they don't seem to care too much for anime, mostly because they know nothing about it.
They have recently re-arranged the living room and lost my Soul Eater Part Two. You can probably guess I was annoyed!
So tell me, how do you...
I am looking for some great manga to read but I don't want to spend all of my money testing out manga I may not like.
Having not read much my favourites are Bleach and Ral Grad. These are the type of anime style I like the most.
What do you enjoy and why?
It is not just about if it can work or not. Can you imagine watching something like CSI and some other character jumps across your screen carrying a banana? In anime this is acceptable, in other forms of media, not so much.
Yes, you have quite an interesting point there. I am trying to deal with that now, any ideas?
At the moment I am relying on possible google searches on 'what is anime?' that sort of thing.
