What would you like to see in a Japanese festival?

I am thinking of setting a small one up in Bath UK. Was wondering on a general level what you would like to see there...
 
If it is a general Japanese festival rather than an anime manga thing you probably should look at a wide variety of things like:

Demonstrations on preparing traditional foods and how to serve them like the tea ceremony.
The history of the Japanese language.
Simple Japanese lesons.
Traditional clothes and how and when to wear them.
Traditional art and styles of music.
The usual martial arts displays.
Calligraphy.

My brain has stopped working for now but if I come up with any thing else I will be back.
 
It would only be a very small Japanese festival so may not be able to get things like people selling masks and goldfish scooping.

To keep me happy, you mean =) I was the main customer for the takoyaki stand at Hyper Japan. Must have had at least 8 times in three days...


On your question, cosplay seems to be pretty popular as well, so why not?
