it is incredibly compressed, but if you know the basic premise it is easier to follow. It looks stunning and its incredibly atmospheric. Good soundtrack too.

10 out of 10 is correct - some things are just awesome, even if they are not to some people's tastes. 2.22 is this film x1000 - one of the most amazing anime movies I have ever seen, up there with the first time I saw Akira and Spirited Away.

I think the cheapest you can get X for is £9.99 each from HMV - so that's £60 for the whole thing or whatever it will be for the box set. Gonna wait for Romeo x Juliet box set - how soon does MVM usually release boxes after the last volume has come out???

Finally finished it. It was an ok series - I think the action picks up at the end and it stops being slow-paced and boring but you do have to sit through about 15 or so episodes of the paper-thin characterisation to get to the actual action. I preferred the OVA. One good thing: Gonzo are...

seeing as I have a gargantuan back log of anime to watch, I'm on a couple of episodes a day (sometimes more) - god knows what I would do if I actually ran out of things to watch!?
