One again i bought a anime out of random, and this time i bought X the movie. I had heard alot of good things about this film like the great action sequesnces and its animation.

So is the film any good?
 
it covers 20+ (still unfinished, suspended) volumes of manga in that one film. The pacing and character developement are a total mess as a result. Does have some great looking set pieces though.

If the manga is unfinished, does that mean the TV anime is unfinished too? I'm half way through that now.
 
it is incredibly compressed, but if you know the basic premise it is easier to follow. It looks stunning and its incredibly atmospheric. Good soundtrack too.
 
If my brain is semi-functional, doesn't X (TV) end with a confrontation between the two leads that isn't resolved; it just ending?

Nope, they resolve it quite clearly in both the film & tv versions though in the exact opposite in each :eek:

As for the movie, it's ok, not great. Awful dub. I would always recommend the series over it.
