I cannot understand why Manga haven't brought Roujin Z to DVD. Some of the stuff they release never had a chance of being as good, but yet we can buy it on DVD. Argh and curses I say.

Forbidden Planet UK & TokyoPop special offer

When I checked last week it was £1 per item or more for heavier items, i think it's safe to say tokyopop books aren't heavy.

It is, there's about 5 minutes of mecha action at the end, well worth catching. God I miss watching anime in the cinema :(

December 2005 UK anime DVD releases

I don't think they literally pay twice to get an extra language certified, it's a discounted amount for extra language tracks. It's possible that it may work out cheaper for them to have one master to copy in large numbers for all of Europe rather than go to the trouble of releasing specific...

    MVM's massive boxset special offer

ROD works fine with me, so it doesn't seem to be a batch problem. Just checked Texhnolyze on my Xbox, thanks for the reminder RedXIII, I often have a problem with my crappy old DVD player but forget. Can see the extras menu fine on my Xbox.

Steamboy set for UK theatrical release?

According to UK anime net it's only on at London's Shaftesbury Avenue (Trocadero). We shall see.

    MVM's massive boxset special offer

One thing I have noticed is that the menu screens for Texhnolyze seem to be missing. You can access them, click extras and a bunch of markers appear to choose, but they appear over the main menu screen and you have to guess what each marker leads to. Is this a problem with anyone elses Boulevard...
