Steamboy set for UK theatrical release?

A user of the NEO forums has noticed that Katsuhiro Otomo's latest anime movie Steamboy is being listed for a UK theatrical release on the Cineworld Cinemas' website; the release date is apparently the 2nd of December (this Friday!) and we assume this will be a limited national release.

I might catch this if I get the chance - Steamboy is the sort of film that is best appreciated on the big screen. Hopefully that might spur Sony on in getting the R2 DVD sorted out...

According to UK anime net it's only on at London's Shaftesbury Avenue (Trocadero). We shall see.
