I was hoping for some "good" licenses from ADV too, sure this might be entertaining but nobody has actually heard of it and isn't what I'd call a good or even big license by any stretch of the imagination. Pretty dissapointed here (but then barely anything I like is ever licensed ;) )...

AnimeOnDVD are reporting that Geneon have licensed historical WW2 based anime Zipang for the US market. MVM have released some of Geneon's titles in the UK so a release over here could happen in the future.

The Silent Hill 2 opening is great. I stick by the fact that this is the best of the series by a long, long shot. The music is amazing too.

Volume 8 isn't yet listed on Dark Horse's US website, if its out in Japan (I've no idea) then I assume they will release it eventually.

I'll second Ramadahl and say that the art style looks like a screen still from a video game of some kind. I have no idea what game though if thats the case.

Mildly disturbing character designs aside the first episode of this was the first GONZO anime for a while I've actually enjoyed. One of the first licenses in a while I'm mildly interested in.

According to AnimeOnDVD Funimation have the distribution rights to action series Witchblade, one of the latest anime from Studio GONZO (Last Exile, Samurai 7). MVM have released several of Funimation's titles in the UK (Fruits Basket, Burst Angel) so a release here may be on the cards.

AnimeOnDVD are reporting that ADV Films has announced the license for Comic Party Revolution. So far none of the franchise has been released in the UK.

They don't have Slayers, they lost the license and Funimation then purchased it. Should be releasing their version of it fairly soon I'd imagine.
