Interesting. As far as I am aware, 88 has only been doing this for titles they release in both the UK and US. Maybe they had planned on a US release for this one and something happened. Or maybe it's just a new thing or inconsistency, as they've certainly experimented with packaging styles before, like the digipak Fong Sai Yuk set.

I really liked their US style sets as it helps with the shelf-space, but eventually they moved over to Scanavo. Curious to see if they will do any more like this in the Summer slate.

I thought it was time for a major tablet upgrade even though I'm going from budget crap Amazon tablet that uses a two year old SoC (from when it was released) and a UI that sucks and can't be changed because Amazon doesn't want you to change it to the cheapest apple iPad available on Amazon monthly payments (it's the A16 version with 128GB storage), but it kicks both the previously mentioned cheap Amazon tablet and the phone I purchased just over a year ago to the kerb.
It also means that when I get a iPhone to replace the previously mentioned phone (which has had it's wallet access revoked by google once already for supposedly either being rooted or running insecure software), I won't have to go through the whole mess I just had to go through setting up this iPad.

I wasn't going to get a plain case, but the price for the case I was going to get went up to what it originally was so I went for a case in as close to the colour of the iPad I purchased.
 
I could not find it for under $64.99 usd the total price in usd including $12.51 for shipping was $93.01 because of the 20% vat.$93.01 converted to pounds £68.62

Vermeil in gold has a little bit of a dent in the spine and its bugging me so I've got in touch to see what they can do. but its probably considered pretty minor.

I don't know about you but that would drive me crazy-I can't stand damage like that. That's why I tend to stay away from collector's editions.
 
I received two ecchi anime titles in the mail, one on 4/23 from eBay, and one yesterday 4/27 from Sentai:


High School DxD Hero Season 4 (Region B)
To Love Ru Complete Series Seasons 1-4

I never bothered to buy Funimation's Limited Edition set of DxD Hero to match the first three LE sets I own of the series, due to the animation change and the not so great reviews it got. I could kick myself now though, seeing the prices even the US Standard Edition is going for now. I figured I may as well get some sort of Blu-ray copy of it, and the Region B Manga UK release is about the only affordable version available any more. Sigh.

And, it looks like I got lucky on the To Love Ru Complete Series Seasons 1-4 set - I had held off getting it for years because I didn't think it was anything I would care for. But, I finally picked up a copy during the last Sentai Sale, because I saw the listing was showing only 18 copies left. After receiving it yesterday I noticed that it is now listed as No Longer Available on Sentai's site, and is pretty much OOP everywhere now, so it's good I didn't wait any longer to grab a copy!
