What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

My Replacement Limited edition Spy X Family S1pt2. Can we spot the problem?

Yep another on going back, apparently it the LE barcode, so I can only assume an already returned item opened and minus all the Limited edition extras of artbox, notepad, newspaper, stickers, art cards.

The slip cover is pretty beaten up as well

Is this Zavvi by any chance? They did this with ID Invaded a few years back.

Unfortuantly not it was rarewaves who also aren't too familar of what packaging is either, but my orginal/first copy I got was the full thing its just the art box got some damage so decided on a return in the hope of a replacement, but this was the replacement.

And they have since given up and just sent a full refund and no mention of returns, which was what I was kinda hoping to avoid, as the crunchyroll boxset sale is long over now.
But I suspect a crunchyroll sale will come around again at some point.

I think its just a previously a returned LE that has been taken from a full set as the barcodes are the same (That was fun explaing that too the customer service), but it possible they have started doing similar to what happened with ID invaded.

A few pickups from over the past week.

From CEX, I picked up a copy of the film adaptation of my favourite novel of the same name - Norwegian Wood. Also from CEX, I picked up the CE of Burn the Witch (which actually came with the booklet and poster, all in great condition). I used a CEX voucher I received over Christmas to pay for the two. I went a little over the voucher's value because of the postage costs, but I still only ended up paying £3.90 for them both.

I also got Cloud/Charisma direct from Eureka - no chance I was missing out on more Kiyoshi Kurosawa goodness from Eureka, so I did pre-order this one.

Lastly, I received Sakamoto Days: Volume 20 from Forbidden Planet and I have to say, they are still killing it with these covers.

Those Naruto bookends look amazing. Thanks for the link - I've picked up a pair myself!

Indeed, I had forgotten to say tyvm to @JeiKaos, myself: they're hefty and well made. In truth though, perhaps I should be cursing Jeff for adding more tat to my room I need not--rather than ends for books, I need rid of books. This does not help with my mission.

That aside, I was drawn to them because of owning the V1-27 manga box set (dented, RIPiss TBD). I (was) more a fan of Naruto in a titular sense, as opposed to the orange ninja sense, so it pains me every time I see the set with Naruto, in all his orange glory on it. The 'Valley of the End' depicted by the bookends though - which is where v1-27 ends - always was a fairly awesome looking backdrop. Thus, the bookends can sit on top of the manga box set. I still feel some level of Narutardation but less so now. So thanks again, Jeff. 👍
PS: The price has gone up now.

I don't have anything new today to share. 'Tis saddening. But this post triggered meeee, for in my experience only 'Steve(n)s' that self-intert into Steven Seagull like his movies. You're a Steve too, 1977, aren't you!?

I shalt share these images of other, more manly films (albeit starring a bisexual ex-ballerina) that I received this month from that era. Just 'cause. Ended up with x2 TimeCop as A) I did not know 'mediabook' is not Germanic for steelbook, B) the steelbook is a Spanish exclusive (with Spanish on the spine, ofc) and C) only the so-called mediabook had a UHD disc. I cry.
