I'm missing my weekly dose of slightly unhinged and ostensibly formal descriptions of ridiculous episode plot threads!

Would you believe that Season 2 is rated G in Australia? Equivalent of a U. Indeed Manga's Volumes 2 and 4 are still on the BBFC website results with the PG rating, so essentially the same episodes are listed on the site with two ratings simultaneously. What a complete shower of uselessness the BBFC has become!

EDIT: BTW, where do you find those BBFC analyses?

Can someone explain to me how equivalents work? I asked someone what the US equivalent would be to the BBFC's R-18 and he said that porn isn't recognized by the MPA so there is no equivalent. Okay, but In the US Interspecies Reviewers was released under a porn label and in Germany it was rated FSK 18 (or at least some of it was) so are they no equal? because it's still 18+ either way. However the difference is FSK 18 is allowed on streaming, even when it was on Funimation Interspecies Reviewers was still rated TV-MA (It was censored though). So I guess the equivalents would be
0=TV-Y, TV-G
6=TV-Y7, TV-PG
12=TV-PG, TV-14
16=TV-14, TV-MA
18=18+? But "18+" isn't a TV rating! It's not even a rating really just a warning screen. Heck IMDB doesn't even list it as a rating, just an attribute you can add to "Not Rated"

edit/update: 18+ is now a certificate on IMDb.

So now I'm confused here!
