AL's handling of Gundam has been... odd. Why did we never get 08th MS Team or 0080, two of the most celebrated entries in the franchise, nor any explanation as to why those, and more or less only those, were consistently overlooked. More than any other Gundam AL released, I coveted nice...

They've got to sell their re-release to the potential double-dippers I suppose. The Sentai authored discs look fine to me, but I won't claim to be an expert in this area. Or any area tbh. Don't think I like the OVAs and TV series enough to buy again. The movies, on the other hand... if they can...

What's going on with dispatch atm? I had something sent within a couple of days at the start of the sale, but already a week has passed since a rejigged second order. No notice on the site about delays. Just wondering how others are doing with sale item dispatch times

Lycoris has arrived. Set is DVD-sized to accommodate Aniplex's booklet and art cards. Not that I'm complaining: more packaging real estate to appreciate the art. It's a really nice, classy looking release, perhaps my favourite of MVM's CEs.

Between Kakegurui and a few other seemingly abandoned shows, AL have created a situation for themselves where customers might hesitate to buy a series 1 release because of their tendency to never release series 2 - which results in a self-fulfilling prophecy as the series 1 sells poorly. I mean...

Re: Gungrave It was the final item in its order to be dispatched for me and no email here either. The order itself is marked as shipped as of today's date in order history. Looking forward to receiving it, been at least a decade since I last watched Gungrave.

It's pretty crap if they have made the extras exclusive to the DE when the GKids steelbook has them. It looks like the extras are the same ones that are on the Hosoda Collection disc. I was keeping that anyway because of the excellent booklet, but would leave a bad taste.
