What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I bought The World of Masamune Shirow Exhibition 2025 Official Catalog Ghost in the Shell i got of ebay for £ 70.67 it was the cheapest price i could find it for.im just waiting for it to get despatched.

its not the same as this year's exhibition catalogue just covers original drawings, storyboards, and layouts of ghost in the shell moive and all way up to sac_2045 plus a preview of the new ghost in the shell series that's out in July.

+1! I've said it before, but I absolutely adore the "art direction" (if that's the right word) on these sets, and they look even better in person. Far superior than the VIZ sets, in my opinion.

For those who may be wondering, it's very much the same disc-menu style as in the original Naruto sets, with the same subtitle font/style.

Yeah it’s turned out very nicely, a shame they couldn’t match the consistency with the Naruto CEs but considering Shippuden has double the episodes this is still a nice way to still get a CE set on the shelf like we’ve had with Bleach.
 
I sent crunchyroll an email complaint regarding their service and told them I wouldn't use them again and gave them some tips re the website.
Classic move in response, they gave me a 20 euro voucher code to use next time I place an order.
That'll be the 10th of never, probably.

Although, maybe I shouldn't cut my nose of to spite myself as usual.

I haven't even played MGS, and I'm not really much of a gamer generally either... but now you mention it, I'm surprised too! It's such a popular franchise :)

(Also I almost wrote MSG and was like lol there are definitely anime of Mobile Suit Gundam, to say the least!) XP

I was wondering as you bought this from TheGameCollection and they mentioned "Free Steelbook", Is it actually a free/extra steelbook or were they just talking about the included steelbook that make its a deluxe edition as shown in photo?

I'm guessing no extra but Capcom wasn't great at releasing material showing contence during the pre-order phase.

NOTE: if any one else is hoping to get hold of the Deluxe edition Amazon seem to have them instock at the moment (but wont ship till 1st April), so maybe Capcom are doing reprints as the orginal pre order sold out for the most part.
 
February Haul #4

I was working the past weekend and a few more parcels appeared at the last second which also stalled my February haul blog post. Since I had today off work I was able to catch up and take a look at them.

#12: Resident Evil Requiem & Tales of Berseria Remastered
Arriving close to the end of the month is another brand new video game pickup from The Game Collection with two physical releases released this year!

This needs no introduction really but I did go ahead and pre-order Capcom’s 2026 survival horror game Resident Evil Requiem, the 9th mainline game in the franchise. Been hearing a lot of really positive buzz, and I’ve recently been playing through Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil Village back to back so I’m pretty much ready to go ahead and play this new instalment before the spoilers start to get out of control. Similar to Resident Evil 4 Remake, I also went for the Lenticular Edition which is a nice o-card sleeve with a 3D looking front cover.

Also picked up is Bandai Namco’s Tales of Berseria Remastered, which is a remaster of the 2016 PlayStation 3 & 4 release. I did own the PlayStation 4 version but I never got around to playing it so I discontinued it (my way of saying I sold it) from the collection in favour of this remaster. It is on Nintendo Switch but I’m keeping the Tales of franchise exclusively to PlayStation as they run better.

#13: Naruto Shippuden Vol. 1 & Spy x Family Code: White
The final arrival of the month and just before the month concluded were two packages from Anime Limited, both pre-orders that took their time due to delays with production.

Naruto Shippuden is the latest Shonen Jump series to join my collection. Now that I own the entirety of the original Naruto anime series, Naruto Shippuden is next on the list. Anime Limited are re-doing the discs instead of using Viz Media’s so we will have 20 volumes in total with 25 episodes per set. Every five volumes will also include a box to house the volumes, but there isn’t much special edition packaging here other than a rigid box and a few art cards from the set, which is fine for me considering how expensive it will be to own all 500 episodes of this long-running anime series.

Also arrived is Spy x Family Code: White, the first original anime film by studios CloverWorks & WIT Studio based on the Shonen Jump+ series. I recently picked up the first two seasons mentioned earlier so this was good timing. I did hear the film is considered ‘fine’ in general but I wanted to own it regardless. Anime Limited handled the license this time thanks to TOHO which was unusual but now that the distributor is owned by them it makes more sense now. You can view more photos & specs on my blog.

#01: Love Live! Superstar!! Season 3
The Liella! idol group return with their third season! Anime Limited went ahead to bring this season onto home video before the US once again for the Love Live! fans. Though for some reason they have done a blunder!

The booklet is in French. Yep the Diebuster ordeal carried over here, granted it may have been an isolated case but either way you can see more photos & specs on my blog.
