UK Anime Christmas Sales for 2025 [Anime Ltd's 12 Days of Xmas + More]

It is reassuring that there are still plenty of other people also still waiting.

I am waiting on an order from the 11th Dec which was all 5 mystery boxes and an additional 4 CEs.

I had made 4 orders, and this is the last one I am wait for. Two of the ones I received were small, one or two pieces and the other large one was BOGOFs, these three I had received by early January.

Guess their warehouse being overwhelmed is just proof that there is still ample demand for physical media.

Second order of 6 items placed in the morning of the second day of the sale still not shifted

EDIT: was walking the dog meant to quote in original reply.

I'm still waiting too. 2 months for a delivery is wild.

I just wish things were communicated better. I had 2 orders placed, both focused on the clearance section.

Maybe some things I ordered went out of stock and they didn't realise but I imagine by this point they're not fulfilling orders by when they were placed (considering I received an order my wife placed after me for a Christmas present the other week).

I just hope when they finally get to the orders of people that haven't been shipped yet they still have the stock. Because if they're fulfilling later placed orders and giving them priority of items that'd be frustrating.

This whole thing highlights there is 0 reason to actually rush next time there is a sale on though if this is the speed of delivery. 😅

My inner customer services agent senses tell me that we should expect an email update this week to explain the situation and what the store is doing to resolve outstanding orders - I.E. providing a revised ETA, rebuild assurances with customers.

Could be, but that is hard to do if you missed two deadlines and (some) orders are two months late.
This isn't helping the trust situation. I'm honestly wondering if they want me to cancel the order so they don't have to come out and say they ran out of stock/mystery boxes. Even though I ordered super early in the sale.

I'm also still waiting for my order (which was placed quite late on the last or second to last day of the sale). Includes the 2 TV Mystery Boxes and 5 other items. Waiting two months for an order to ship is honestly quite abysmal (and the communication could be better as well with only having one customer mail going out so far).

I have been part of these sales since 2019 but it has never been this bad for me (most of the time the orders arrived in December; I think only during the Brexit year 1 delivery slipped to January).
Hope there will be some lessons learned regarding future Christmas sales as a normal company shouldn't have a shipping backlog of over 2 months.

They used to pre-assemble mystery boxes ready to go, but I assume they don't do that anymore (but I assume they at least place them all near each other in the warehouse) but all mystery box sale items are more or less full price/not on sale, which is why we usually have an idea of what will be in the mystery bundles before they get revealed.
But they do appear to have a pretty accurate stock counter and as such they shouldn't manage to over sell items that would be in things like mystery bundles (but of course I don't work there so I could be wrong).

Also slightly curious regarding the mystery boxes as they were a complete mystery this year as to whether they were purchased or not with the factor of it being an actual mystery. I would assume sales on mystery boxes would be down/less as people didn't want to risk it (but also, they must have a bunch of customers who don't browse forums for info too)

I'm also still waiting on packages from the 10th (but I supect there in the complicated pile)

The only time it was as bad for me was when RM bunged a load of international orders in a corner of their depot and held them for over a month before then returning them to AL. My stuff didn't arrive until March.

This is when they could do something positive with the remaining orders if one/two items are currently out of stock and ship out the stuff which is in stock, putting the out-of-stock item on back-order to be shipped out once more arrive. Even if it costs them more money in shipment fees.

Still waiting for a largish order from the 2nd December here. All BOGOF other than Promare.
