What did you BUY today?

The Executioner and Her Way of Life from MVM - This is something that had positive buzz so I promised myself I’d give it a shot if it ever came out. Hopefully I enjoy it.

I have also brought Library of Ruina and Saga Frontier on the PlayStation Store as part of the summer sale.
 
Can tell just how much I've moved away from Anime over the last year

Usually most if not all my preorders would be Anime stuff

So far I have 2 anime figures on preorder and 7 model railway sets lol
 
Something really not too exciting-my 8 year old bluray burner in my computer finally died on me so I had to order a new one. It arrived today so I spent about an hour installing and setting it up.

Sonic Frontiers and Soul Hackers 2 on PS5, which means....

I also got a PS5 slim (disc drive version) since after the optical drive in my PS4 pro decided to become temperamental, I decided to get the PS5 where you can replace the optical drive without having to do major component swapping to make it work (also, I'm going to have to get a new dualsense controller since the battery life in the one I got with the console is complete ass as it only lasts a few hours from a full charge).

The DualSense has pretty bad battery life in general. It's not much better than the DualShock 4; about 5-7 hours, I think.

Yes as I found out firsthand that optical drives don't last forever. If I were you I'd get a spare one to keep in case it went bad and sony'd discontinued them. Funny thing is that I have 2 dvd players that are going on 18 years old and they still work perfectly.

This one went from full to low (not signalling low battery, but close enough for government work) in around 2 hours.
The DS4 I got with my PS4 pro lasts longer then that.

That's the plan, in fact I'm going to get at least 2 or 3 to make sure I have a few in case of failure or I end up getting a PS5 pro.
 
Finally got a P Bandai Heavyarms Custom for under £70 (Shipping and Tax included)

From Aliexpress but the sellers got a 98% rating with 2000+ sales so I'm pretty happy they're legit

Kept looking at a standard Heavyarms MG but always put it off as I wanted a Custom
 
I love the animated Aladdin, the late Robin Williams voiced the genie and literally knocked the ball out of the park, the live action version wasn't even worth watching.

Switch upgrade from lite to OLED (although, I'm not sure if I'll be keeping the lite or selling it).
I've also spent the past 4 hours waiting for the switch to charge enough to set it up and redownload all my digital games and other content (which is still ongoing since you can't just move an SD card from one switch to another) and there's still the updates for all my physical games to get done (but I'm going to have to wait to see if I'm going to have to move all the data for Nier Automata from the SD card to the console again to prevent the game from softlocking itself when exiting the game and returning to the title screen).
Once all that is done, I'm going to have to find a place for the dock and somehow conjure up a spare HDMI connection for it until I can put the 7 port HDMI switch I purchased into service.
 
Not today (well apart from New X-Men), but these are the things I have purchased recently that haven't arrived yet, I will just post the stuff that has in the What Did You RECEIVE today? thread to avoid unnecessary repetition :)
