Yatterman Night ep2

Certainly more enjoyable than the mawkish opener, but I increasingly wonder who exactly this series is aimed at. It doesn't feel as much aimed at the moe audience as the presence of Leopard as protagonist might suggest. It also seems rather dark and interested in metanarratives to play as a straight childrens show, but equally, it lacks the harder edge that might please cynical adults. My best guess is that they're after the same sort of mixed-age, pre-watershed audience that we see targeted in live-action adventure series like Doctor Who.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! (Japanese Dub) - Episodes 10-12 (Complete)
Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!: Sparkling... Slapstick Noel (Japanese Dub) - OVA Special (Complete)
Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!: Chuni-Shorts (Japanese Dub) - ONA 01-06 (Complete)

I found the last few episodes to be very predictable but nevertheless I really enjoyed this show and it's moe-ness. Dekamori probably stole the show for me, especially in the OVA episode.

Speaking of the OVA I loved it, would watch again.

Death Parade ep6. I loved that ending

Saekano: How to Raise A Boring Girlfriend ep5. This has improved massively since that awful episode 0.

Your Lie In April ep17.

Yatterman Night ep3

Might have a look at the next one, as I'm curious to see what the design of the Yatterman city will be like, but I think I'll probably drop the show. It's not bad, but I'm not getting as much out of it as the other things I'm watching just now. There are certainly some neat ideas in play and it has its darker moments, but for the most part, it just feels like any other inoffensive swashbuckler.

Added hilarity from Viewster, due to the fact that the only advert that seems to play alongside it is the trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey.

Recently I've been watching (dub) Fairy Tail and made it through volumes 6 - 8.
I must say that for the most part the shows arcs have been dull to decent at best, and far outstay their welcome. As I result I was using most episodes for background noise, or something I have open whilst doing something else. Then it came to The Edolas arc - which was actually pretty damn good! It was the first time I actually ended up giving the show my full attention. I hear that it's the best arc - and it's well deserved. The 8th op/ed songs were pretty great too unlike the majority of meh themes before it.
