It's such a shame that Kawaisou has ended. It was by far my favourite show last season.

A rather satisfying end to the first season. I like Tohka a lot (especially when she plays The School of the Zombie (for those who don't get the reference it's House of the Dead)) and Yoshino is a fun character.

The OVA was much more entertaining than I anticipated (a lot of harem OVAs are always prioritising on fanservice, this one just went on like any other DAL episode).

Brynhildr in the Darkness episode 13

Boooooooooooooooo! What a lousy finale. Judging by comments on MAL/Crunchy, this adaptation has really butchered the source material. I'd imagine a two-cour run would have helped, the last two episodes were a real mess here. So much was crammed in, giving no time for anything to actually sink in.

Kazumi's death was lame, then made even worse by her re-appearing at the end. She was my favourite character, and I felt annoyed by her coming back to life!

Baby Steps ep 13.

High School DxD s1 ep 1-3. It seems the laws of physics in this anime's universe are more... bouncy than normal. Gravity must be weaker in any case :p

The World is Still Beautiful (Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii) ep 12 (complete). What a fantastic final episode, in fact I cannot remember a more satisfying ending to any anime. This series exceeded my expectations continuously and while I don't think it was perfect by any means I will still remember it fondly.
 
Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to 05-09. The second part of episode 8 had me in stitches, very funny! It actually made my stomach ache I was laughing that much, a very rare thing for me.
 
Patlabor OVAs........I'm going to have to get the rest of this series......since the new files are coming out and then the only one that I'll need is the main series
 
Just so you know the 2nd ova directly follows the 47 episode (if memory serves) TV series. The first ova came out just after the manga started and is stand alone. Then there is the TV series followed as I said by the ova. The 3 films stand as an alternate version (the 3rd films monster is an awful lot like the one in the Korean film called The Host). I'd highly recommend MiniPato ova too as it's very good.

I own all of it on dvd and the first ova on bluray. I really want the first two films on bluray (I've seen both at 1080p and they look beautiful!).

Anyway I've just finished Mangaka-san to assistant-San to. Highly entertaining stuff, it kept getting better as it went along.

Iv got the 3 movies and the 3 OVA episodes minpato and the 7 episode OVA which I'm going to watch in a bit, and yes your right about the time line and the monster being like the host.......I think Japan is going to sue someone lol, the new files is coming out soon so it best if I get the main series soon after I get the new files.

I thought the movies was good and has aged like a fine wine.
 
My dvds are all the R1's of the TV and ova's. It took ages to get them all.

You'll notice I think episodes 5&6 or 6&7 are basically a first attempt at the 2nd film.

Also I just remembered last year I saw the trailer for the host 2. Looked pretty good.
