When they cry season 2'..............wait what? I have no idea what episode I'm on but this is nothing like the first season which I think is awesome but this season is good too.

The art style change takes a bit of getting used too, but your starting to cut through the lies and mis-direction of the earlier arcs.

Girls und Panzer 1-2

Were these subtitles made by a fansubber who was active around the turn of the century? Because seriously:

Also, it simply refers to tankery as the Japanese "Sensha-do"....really?

If someone at Hanabee wanted to show off their tank knowledge, couldn't they have included a booklet in the Australian release just explaining everything (with reference notes to episodes and such. Maybe throw in some production artwork from the series too) instead of this?

Also, first episode summed up:
"I don't wanna do it!"
"Well then, I'll bully and blackmail you"
"As your friends, we'll stand by you...actually, we wanna do it now. You do it too"
"Okay, I'll do it!"

It's not Hanabee, they got the discs/material from Sentai. Sentai feel the need to add those notes. They appear on Horizon on the middle of nowhere as well.

I think I'm getting what's going on now I'm on episode 12………………… and I don't like where this is going for rika

It's not the art that's throwing me off.........It's the change of atmosphere and the way it's going in season 2

First season freaked me out and I loved it..............second season seems to be about the the good endings I'm on episode 12 so I could be wrong maybe.

I just fell in love with this series and it is a wild ride

Now that you mention it, them not translating Sensha-do in the subs does stink of Sentai. It's a really annoying practice and I wish they'd stop >>. I mean, hell:
"Note: A volleyball term - the libero is a defensive player whose job it is to take a serve. What a 'reverse libero' is, though, is anyone's guess..."

Anyways, I've since watched episodes 3-6.

MD Geist OVA - So awful yet so fabulous.

Top wo Nerae! Gunbuster! (First Season) Episode 1 - Liking this thus far, likeable lead. Told me very little but enough of the plot to make me eager to watch the rest. Shame I can't continue it till Wednesday evening.

Magical Knight Rayeath - Episodes 1-4. Bought this from a member here after I finished the Manga. First thoughts..it hasn't aged well :S but its CLAMP & has a Mokona so I love it.

Attack on Titan (English Dub) - Episodes 9 and 10

I'll admit. This is one of the better English dubs I've heard so far, even with its flaws it does a good job for those who dislike subtitles.

I also checked out the trailers on Disc 2 (one of my favourite things when buying a Funimation disc), it has the following:
- Deadman Wonderland - Anime Classics Edition [before Main Menu]
- Psycho Pass
- Jormungand
- Appleseed XIII: Tarantos & Ouranos
- Karneval ~ This one I have absolutely underestimated, I'm convinced to actually get this series. No wonder Manga UK got the rights so early
- Devil is a Part-Timer ~ On my priority list
- Code:Breaker ~ Interesting but we'll see what happens
- Attack on Titan: Part 2 ~ Very short but for the best to avoid spoilers

While I am waiting to acquire the Naruto Shippuden boxsets for a decent price i decided to re-watch one of my favorite anime's...

Black Lagoon Episodes 1-10

Finished Dog Days season 1. It didn't do anything to seem worth the active recommendations I got in spades after it aired, but it wasn't terrible (mainly because of the stellar voice cast), and the last episode was surprisingly emotional (if ridiculously contrived).

Yes! haha. MD Geist is truly the king of being the bestworst.

I can't remember what episode since I've not been able to watch any since Friday but I'm upto disc 5 of Samurai Champloo. Really love this show.

It's a toss up between Another and High School DxD next.

Attack on Titan (English Dub) - Episodes 11, 12 & 13
Attack on Titan Picture Drama: Chibi Theatre: Fly, Cadets, Fly (Japanese Dub) - Episodes 1 [01-02], 2 [03-04], 3 [05-07], 4 [08-10], 5 [11-13]

You think that a popular show like this would have all of the special extras (like the Picture Drama) dubbed in English. O Funimation.

Yes they seem quite slapdash with dubbing the extras, leaning more towards not dubbing thesedays than dubbing it seems. I suppose they do still put more effort in than Sentai.

It's not a sequel, it just happens to be by the same people and have similar themes.

I know that hell I can see its not the same setting and such, I got to say it looks and sounds awesome, I don't see the point of calling it season 3 when it doesn't have no connection to the first two.

I like the animation and its on bluray too.
The setting is great like a who did it case where everyone one by one is killed off sort of thing in this big old house and it has people in it who wants something.
Looks good and il continue to watch it
