Arakawa Under the Bridge s1 ep 11-13 (complete). Funny enough to keep my attention, with some character development if you look hard enough. I'll start the second season tomorrow.
Selector Infected WIXOSS ep 2. If the first episode was a Madoka ripoff, then this was YuGiOh. The rules of the card game need to be better explained, the battles don't make much sense right now.
So Series 2 came to it's inevitable conclusion, I love the detail in all aspects of the story of LoGH, but it just felt it was playing by the numbers for the last 10 episodes or so.
Marvel Disc Wars: The Avengers Episode 1
Those character designs are all laughable. The main kid's dad looks more like Tony Stark than Tony Stark, Hulk looks like he should be in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Dr. Strange must have ran out of hair dye for half of his face and Iron Fist...just Iron Fist xD.
Baby Steps ep 2. Still looks like a standard sports anime, doesn't stand out.
Garden of Sinners (Kara no Kyoukai): Remix. Using this 'recap' to prepare for watching movie 8 tomorrow.
Kenzen Robo Daimidaler ep 2.
Pokemon XY ep 3-4. I really shouldn't be watching Pokemon at my age
The World Is Still Beautiful (Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii) ep 2. This is shaping up well. It trips up a little with the modern style clothing the princess wears (perhaps appropriate considering her name is Nike) in a 1700's style environment which is a bit jarring, as is the use of J-pop as a magical chant (not in a Hare Hare Yukai style thankfully, it's a gentle ballad), but the story and characters are interesting so I'll forgive it some small flaws.
Captain Earth 1-2 - this has a lot of elements which remind me of Star Driver, Eureka Seven, etc. Very much a bones mecha series you could say, and very enjoyable too. They know how to entertain. And the gattai sequence in episode 1 is pretty darn cool too. Think this'll be a keeper for the season.
Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge s2 ep 3-7. Brynhildr in the Darkness ep 2. Garden of Sinners: Future Gospel (Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin). Nobunaga the Fool ep 14.
While it never quite reaches the heady heights of the first arc, the show is still a great watch. Losing interest (as I did during my first watch) and probably going to have to force myself to sit through the last few episodes
Naruto Episodes 13-61
Loving this show, find myself fast forwarding often though (many episodes start with 2-3 minutes of stuff that happened in the previous episode, the whole sakura/ino fight during the Chunin exam, any time sakura starts getting emotional about something, any time a flashback takes place etc, the episodes where sakura is doing stuff on her own) but the fights are great and the overall plot is rather enjoyable. Can't imagine enjoying it as much if I watched without skipping certain scenes.
I think in my first attempt to watch this I got to episode 78 so not far off reaching brand new stuff. Gonna watch it through to the start of the filler and then just dve in to Shippuden.
