Tonari no Seki-kun episodes 6 & 7. Show of the season for me.
^This. Also;
Bakemonogatari ep 9-10.
Nobunaga the Fool ep 6. Some historical knowledge would help when watching this episode. Or at least that's the impression I got. I really should look through Wikipedia.
Yowamushi Pedal ep 18. The training camp is finally finished. Yayyy!

Space Dandy 6

the soundtrack just gets better and better.

Yes. OST when, seriously.

I am surprised though that, given how they're already referencing John Carpenter in the music, they didn't make the scene of Dandy surfing in space a more obvious nod to Dark Star.

So we've had tributes to the likes of Romero and Carpenter so far, I wonder who's next? Personally I'd like to see them pay homage to Sam Raimi's Army of Darkness somehow :p

Dark Star is one I've been meaning to see for ages. I adore Escape from New York though. I even have a soft spot for Escape from L.A.

Hah, good call. I'm not sure how they'd manage AoD (Dandy shops smart?), but I could see them shoehorning the Evil Dead 2 "I'll swallow your soul!" beast in the basement in somewhere.

Never seen Escape from L.A. though. I'm actually a little afraid to watch it...
