Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions Ren 4

It's a shame the incredibly predictable ending happened, because I really liked Nibutani and Dekomori in this episode.

Legend of Galactic Heroes - Episodes 24 & 25

What a cliffhanger!! A lot of character designs change quite significantly in this episode, which is a little disappointing given how consistent the animation has been so far, Mike Toole wrote about this type of thing in a recent article on ANN.

This past week I've been off work using my holidays and have watched:

The Devil Is A Part-Timer (1-12)
Valvrave the Liberator (21-24)
Arpeggio of Blue Steel (1-12)
Beyond the Boundary (Just ep 1, didn't really get into this)
Space Dandy (Sub; ep 1, again didn't really enjoy it, too crazy even for me)
Noragami (1-3)
Buddy Complex (1-3)
Maoyu (1-12)
Gatchaman Crowds (1-6; just on ep 6 currently)

Nisekoi 4
Too much cute. Too much cute. And finally we see Ruri and Maiko in the same room - they're the couple that interests me the most xD

Space Dandy ep4

Wow. I didn't find it as side-splittingly hilarious as I know some people have done, but I thought that was a remarkably fresh and witty take on the zombie apocalypse scenario. The stream of George Romero jokes and return of John Carpenter music didn't hurt either.

Much as you could point to Cobra or even Lupin as obvious touchstones, I really appreciate how Space Dandy seems to be looking that bit further afield for its inspiration. It's nice to see something that's not just more anime about anime.

Blood: The Last Vampire (English/Japanese Dub via Manga UK BD) - Film

For 50 minutes, it's an good film (her lips annoy me though) and the Blu-ray release is pretty decent though the film is quite dark for its age. There's one question I want to know, was there ever a complete Japanese Dub? or was the film done in a mixture of English and Japanese?

Golden Time episodes 14, 15 and 16. - Completely hooked at this point and can't wait to see where things go, very interesting episode this week too.

Kill la Kill ep15

Hmm. A couple of nicely animated scenes, also interesting to see Nudist Beach go to war, but slightly underwhelming overall.

Is it wrong that I'm disappointed Ryuko didn't cut Satsuki's left hand off to get the glove back? I wanted to see her make a new hand from life fibre, a la Tetsuo in Akira.
