Space Dandy - ep3

Is there any difference in music between the Japanese and English language tracks? I ask, as I most certainly did not expect to hear incidental music from Assault on Precinct 13 this week.

I don't think there is, although I didn't watch the dub for episode 3. Which part did it play at?

It's while Dandy and the girl are hiding from the aliens in a cave - I think it was just after he tries to use his blaster.

Having gone back and looked at the egg thing, I was wrong about that though. The eyes are sort of similar, but it's definitely not the one from Berserk.

Tonari no Seki-kun ep 3 and OAD. This continues to be just about perfect, and I finally found the OAD which is just as good.

Last week was a bit of a nightmare for me so I've fallen behind on most of the streaming shows. I'll try to catch up this week.

Legend of Galactic Heroes - Episode 9

I love the grandiose story line and the skullduggery of LoGH.

Space Brothers - Episode 90

Yeah I am actually and its great watching these oldies Iv just finished the ones aya sent me

Bring back the old sci-fi for older shows an give us back old anime like one's iv been watching.

I know what you mean, I spent the 90's watching VHS fansubs of 80's and early 90's anime and I was hooked on the aesthetic and story telling, and while there still a lot good stuff around today, I still keep going back to and prefer anime from that period and LoGH is a classic example.

I like the anime they bring out every season but I wounder why like the oldies like the ones iv been watching and no it's not nostalgia it was the first time watching them.

Maybe it was the extra violence or maybe it's the way it was back then where everything was drawn instead of computer animated, you know all hand made.

Or maybe it was more adult, I'm not sure but I feel excited when I watch oldies both the ones iv seen and the ones I haven't seen.

What do you think it is?

Nagi no Asukara ep 15. Yet more angst.
Nobunaga the Fool ep 2-3. Trust Japan to use Joan of Arc for fanservice. This series seems entertaining enough, I look forward to seeing how it develops.
Space Dandy ep 3. This episode got some light giggles out of me, so I guess that means it's getting better. The next episode looks quite good (Zombie Dandy).
Yowamushi Pedal ep 15. I think they are starting to drag out this whole 'training camp' thing too much, it feels like the show is losing it's momentum.

Wizard Barristers episode 1

Buddy Complex episode 3 - Man, looks like things are going to get messy. I hope the series manages to do everything it's trying to do in the time it has.

Space Dandy episode 3 - Still not really impressed. Found this episode quite fun in places and downright boring in others, best part for me is watching it with a close friend of mine otherwise I'd likely have already dropped it (although I am hoping the small improvements we're seeing means it gets better at -some- point).

I have been watching the series subbed though, is the dub any better?

Genshiken: Second Season (Japanese Dub via Crunchyroll UK) - Episodes 10, 11, 12, 13

Despite being different to the other Genshiken seasons and OVAs, I enjoyed Second Generation a lot. Now I should read the manga to cover the stuff before the show began.

Note: This show could have been finished viewing back in around October but Crunchyroll's video streaming is terrible (I know that because YouTube, Animax, Wakanim & other services play fine). Kuroko's Basketball is also affected by this too. I'll be using 720p from now on for the laggy shows but for others it should be fine in 1080p.

Legend of Galactic Heroes - Episode 10

Nobunaga the Fool - Episode 3

Not particularly outstanding in any sense, but it's simple and enjoyable entertainment.

As I said it's the aesthetic and storytelling for me.
