I was asked by a website to review Steins;Gate The Movie: Burdened Domain of Déjà Vu, so I watched the movie and did the review last night (the editor changed some of my words and even incorrectly used a comma, but eh, money is money).

It was a pretty amazing movie in all honesty.

Patlabor OVA 1.

I got the bluray for christmas. I already really like the ova series, not it has the picture quality to fit the story.

I LOVE what they can do with the quality when they restore stuff well on bluray.

One Piece Ep.627
Space Dandy Ep.1

Just wow, what a brilliant show, with an amazing dub. They've done an incredible job. Easily one of the best first episodes of anything in a long time, glad I decided to jump back in for this season.

"Space Dandy: he's a Dandy...in space!"

"Breastaurants: where zero-g meets double d"

"I can't read circle!"
"It says I don't know"
"Why did you print that?!"

Space Dandy 1

I liked that quite a bit, looks like it's going to be an excuse for BONES to just go crazy every episode. The second half was definitely stronger than the first half though. Great English voicework too!

I've watched 2x region 1 releases which have been on my pile since January 2011

Green Green episodes 1 to 12
Bit fan service happy (quite a lot of naked girls), but an interesting story

Demon King Daimao episodes 1 to 12
Not as much fan service as the cover art & pictures on the box would suggest, interesting story though.

Just seen the episode and I totally agree with you. The visuals are wonderful. I listened to the sub version.

Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- (English Dub via Funimation BD) - Episodes 9, 10, 11 + 9.5 Recap (On-Hold til I get Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- : Part 2)

Space Dandy - Episode 1 (Dub)

Pretty much this^

I did also try the subbed version on Wakanim for the first time, just so I could see the proper OP/ED since Toonami cut them down and used instrumental tracks instead.
The video quality was pretty meh, even when set to HD, and the subtitles on Wakanim are out of Sync with the audio, but from the few minutes I watched in Japanese I think I did actually prefer the English dub. It just seemed more fitting.

Surely seems to be a trait of Watanabe shows, they adapt to English so well and usually the dubs are as good if not better on occasion...obvious exception being Kids on the Slope. Dub is pretty poor for that (can no one pronounce Kaoru right? Plus the total needless use of the honorifics which generally I don't think should be used in dubs unless it's necessary/fitting to the story). I think part of that has to do with the fact that Kids is a very Japanese series compared to his others.

I don't think that Kids on the Slope being a more Japanese series in any way affected how well a dub for it would be.
The problem is that Sentai dubbed and released it, and last year almost every single Sentai dub was complete and utter ****.
In fact pretty much every Sentai dub is ****. The only good one I remember from last year was Dusk Maiden.

Witchcraft Works 1

Like Tokyo Ravens before it, I read some of the manga a couple of years back so I knew what I was getting into. It'll fulfil the "fun, low-demand, entertaining action series" role for me this season.

Tonari no Seki-kun 1

Saw this was a short, and thought I'd watch it to kill some time. Heh, how appropriate. This one looks like it'll be quite charming. Looking forward to seeing what Hiro Shimono's badass character comes up with at his desk each week.
