Oreimo 2 Episode 5
I really, really loved this episode.
Sure, it did give the incest fans some fanservice, but the fake-date gave Kirino and Kyosuke a chance to say what they really feel about each other, while keeping some distance with the “it’s just a fake date!” thing.

And let’s not forget the Kuroneko stuff too. Kuroneko received a lot of great development in this episode too!

There was totally no need for the "pretend boyfriend" thing. 1) She could've just said "No thanks" or "going abroad before taught me I'm not ready for it" 2) If she already had a boyfriend then just use him 3)There was zero indication that they were being watched other than they thought they might.
Are you implying that there's a place for logic in an anime about a model/published writer/high school girl being a major otaku? =3

Somewhere there's a big rule book of writing that states characters must always do the most stupid thing to resolve an issue rather than the most direct, which is probably why I don't watch any soaps.

Watching wise

Kampfer OVA 1-2 : Somewhat bland, I thought I saw a tiny sliver of plot advancement but it's clearly not going anywhere and there is no S2 afaik

Code Geass R2 19-25 : Finishing up the BD, the ending still had a big impact and it looks great at BD level. Shame Kaze skipped the extras.

Spring always brings about a Sakura Wars period for me, so I have been re-watching the OVA series, which is the best animated form of the franchise.

Or at least the 1997 OVAs are. The second 'character' studies feel less engaging.

I am biased, though, since the original OVA VHS release was the first anime I ever bought.

Nyaruko W: episodes 4 & 5

Starting to go into the dumb drama territory. It's still pretty hilarious though.

Railgun S: episodes 3 & 4

Pointless side characters. At least it's actually going somewhere with the story. But if they add more filler (which they probably will) then I'll just drop it and read the manga instead.

A Certain Scientific Railgun S Episode 4

Which can be summed up with:
"What the f--- is up with onee-sama?" - Kuroko.

Dokidoki Precure episodes 1-6

A nice change of mood after watching Kyojin. I've wanted to watch a Precure series for a while now so I decided to go for Doki since it's airing. If I like it (which I do so far) then I'll go back and watch some of the older ones.
