The Dagger of Kamui

I've been meaning to watch this for ages, it was a good historical action drama film, a bit ponderous on a few occasions but engaging throughout nonetheless.

Cowboy Bebop - Episodes 24 - 26 [Final] (Blu-ray)

Pure class and a genuine classic.

Gurren Lagann Movie 1: Gurren-hen

Mostly recap, although I really appreciated some of the changes they made to certain scenes/battles.
If you really love Gurren Lagann (like me!) then it might be worth giving the movies a go, though I wouldn't recommend it at all if you haven't seen the series at least once already. Most of the characters aren't really introduced or developed at all - they're just there.
Bit disappointed that AniplexUSA's discs (Which are the JP BD Box discs) don't have English subtitles for the songs though. I'm pretty sure Anime Limited's release had subs for the Ending song at least when I checked.

Blood Lad & OVA - Entertaining show, nothing special & fairly generic but it was easy to watch & did its job :)
Would watch a second season as one or two plot lines were quite interesting but that ain't happening with its sales in Japan.

Tales From Earthsea

Watching this was... weird. It's so unlike anything else Ghibli have put out - the tone is just completely different. I mean, in a way it's nice to see Ghibli tackling something that's a lot darker than their usual subject matter, but the pacing is absolutely horrendous, and it only really gets going an hour into the running time. Some of the visuals are pretty poor too - in places it looks more like a Naruto movie than true Ghibli at their best.

The voice acting really saves it though - it's probably one of Ghibli's better dubs, Willem Defoe is properly terrifying as the villain.
