Thousand Master
Oh yeah forgot about mushi-shi.
Unless there's another anime with the same name this one does have a dub. ^_~ So please change/move it. (Sorry for being such a pain with the dub/sub split folks.)Jatz said:10 - 01 point - Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
Hmmmm, I had to Google this one. I take it you're mainly referring to Tokyo Godfathers and Millennium Actress? Part of me doubts I should allow this combinational vote.Jatz said:02 - 09 points - Satoshi Kon Titles
Well done. ^^Jatz said:Filled everything.
Well, a medal has two sides ... And so has this vote.BanzaiJedi said:07 - 04 points - Girls & Panzer: Anzio OVA
The OVAs didn't get dubbed, but the third season did. So this belongs in the dubbed category.BanzaiJedi said:03 - 08 points - The World God Only Knows: Godesses
Half-dubbed franchises ... I could see this go under either category really, but it can only be under one of them I believe.BanzaiJedi said:07 - 04 points - Initial D
It had to be done.Joshawott said:I like how Index/Railgun have been so high up in past polls that they now require their own rule.
Duly noted. Dub/sub split will surely be gone next year.Joshawott said:In regards to the different categories though, I don't really think there is enough anime being produced to justify such a large split.
Sadly enough. Especially Sentai Filmworks seems to be responsible for that though. Hope the tides turn again in 2015.Joshawott said:So much sub-only stuff these days.
Awesome. ^^ Greatly appreciated.Elaniel said:My list updated
You could've made a Love Live joke there if you wished. Such a waste of potential.Mangaranga said:From the shows of 2014 I would have to go with Fate/Stay Night, Your Lie in April, Amagi Brilliant Park, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Aldnoah.Zero, but most of all I'd love Love LOVE a nice big pretty release of Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun. It was easily the best show of 2014 for me.
According to the rules Nisekoi ends up with 4 points and Chu2Koi with 3 for the overall category unless you give it all a proper order yourself.Mangaranga said:I'd also like to see license rescues of Nisekoi and Chuunibyou from Kaze, so that someone in the UK can actually release these titles and do a decent job of it.
I hope they're completely done with UK distributing, that's for sure.Mangaranga said:It's good that Kaze are finally dead and all considering how awful their releases are, but sitting on licenses for good shows in the UK is another thing.
Two points and one point, same comment as above. (And 10 & 9 points towards BD upgrades)Mangaranga said:For BD upgrades the only ones that jump to mind are Tatami Galaxy and Ergo Proxy off the top of my head.
My problem with Garden of Sinners really is that I dislike dvd subtitles. Wouldn't want to ever watch it on DVD.black1blade said:Yeah I just updated my list with what came to mind. I imagine eva blu rays sometime in 2016/2017 as with fate stay night UBW. With funimation releasing haruhi blu ray, I hope that it is in the UK my Christmas because that is one of my fav anime. The obvious monster and higurashi too. Honestly I'm not too fussed about a UK release of kara no kyoukai because I will probably just buy the jap blu rays in a few years (The dvd's will do for now but it is the sort of film series you want to see in the best quality possible which only the aniplex blu rays will provide. I don't mind for most other shows because we pay about a 1/10th of the price of the Japanese blu rays so a little loss in quality isn't that bad.)
Good to see at least someone says openly being inspired by other people's lists. (Not that who doesn't is doing something wrong!)black1blade said:Oh yeah forgot about mushi-shi.
Noted. I also needed to move Nobunaga the Fool to the Dub section, so I've adjusted my votes. I also rearranged some other votes because every time I look at it my opinion seems to change.Agent-347 said:Well, a medal has two sides ... Nothing against it on the one hand, though Sentai Filmworks hasn't licensed it yet and it is sub-only until then despite the expectations they will license and dub it in 2015 or 2016.
While the franchise got dubbed and got licensed, I think there is no solid proof this will get dubbed as of yet making me lean towards saying this belongs under the sub-only category.
The OVAs didn't get dubbed, but the third season did. So this belongs in the dubbed category.BanzaiJedi said:03 - 08 points - The World God Only Knows: Goddesses
Well it's getting a blu ray release in japan in summer so I would guess that the blu rays will be licensed.serpantino said:Surprised Evangelion (series) hasn't been mentioned for re-release. It costs a damn fortune to buy it 2nd hand & somebody is losing out on a lot of potential money there.
