Thousand Master
Neon Genesis Evangelion-for some strange reason I'm feeling compelled to rewatch this after last watching it 12 years ago. What's good for me is that I have both the boxed platinum set in slim cases and the holiday set. I do have the original single releases with the bad video and audio quality.

Future GPX Cyber Formula Zero - Episodes 1 - 8 [Final]
I really liked this, it had a slighter darker tone with much more focus on the characters, definitely the best of the Cyber Formula anime so far.
Future GPX Cyber Formula Saga - Episode 1
Everyone's grown up a bit more here and there's some new dynamics in play too, so looking forward to this installment. The opening animation reminded me a lot of Gundam Wing's opening animation, which maybe isn't a surprise given they were made at similar times at Sunrise.
Beast King War God Dandivine - Episodes 1 & 2
This is OK so far, the influences are multiple and obvious and its not doing anything particularly new at the moment. It's very cheap looking but I'm always happy to have a new mecha show to watch.
Magic Knight Rayearth (2026) - Episodes 1 & 2
Again it's OK so far, and I'm not sure about some of the animation choices here either if I'm honest. I've been meaning to re-watch the original series for ages and after watching these first couple of episodes I think I'll definitely revisit it soon.
Ranma 1/2 (2024) - Episodes 26 & 27
Continues to make me laugh.
The Guyver: Dark Hero
I watched the recent Blu-ray release at the weekend (a very nice upgrade on the DVD), it's not as good as the original film IMHO, but I still find these live action Guyver films very entertaining.

Quite different to the first season, definitely more of a slow burn with more of mystery element.

Steel Ball Run ep5
Cyberpunk Edgerunners II ep1
Just as a first impression, my gut feeling is that I may well end up liking this more than the first season. Through King, it’s certainly capturing a lot more of the genre’s association with film noir. I hoped Emily would stick around for longer though, I liked her design.
