Kinnikuman II Sei: Ultimate Muscle 2 episodes 19-26 (Complete. This was the franchise entry that I was more familiar with owing to its dub back in the day that I have a vague memory of finding online when I started watching anime. As is, I watched the subbed version here and enjoyed it as well - Kinnikuman as a whole has been a fun story to watch, and I can understand its enduring appeal as a classic.) 3.5/5, 3/5, 3/5, 3.5/5, 3.5/5

Dorohedoro S2 ep 6
Continuing to love Dorohedoro in all its batshit glory. The lack of various EDs (so far) like S1 may seem a little disappointing, but I'm not mad as the tune is a bit of a banger.
Den noh coil eps 1-7
I've been watching Dennoh Coil as a bit of a pallette cleanser after having somewhat been binging on Dorohedoro's maximalist mentalism recently. I'm really loving it. It's quite a gentle sci fi show. Not that there isn't action, intrigue, and the feeling of high stakes. But the high stakes (as far as I can tell) is sort of the high stakes of kids, ie. getting your giga pet ( poor old Densuke is awesome though) deleted or your virtual reality glasses broken (before Meta made those uncool, along with the word meta). I laugh every time one of the kids say "aww that's two New Year's allowances!" and feel their pain. This is also one of those somewhat mature (even though it's about kids) and grounded sci fi anime shows that I feel like the 00s was particularly good for. The art work and animation is just pure Production IG magic. I have to be honest though, after 7 episodes I still don't really understand what the heck Den Noh space is.

Afro started this 4-koma 2 years after Yuru Camp started and just under a year before the first season of the Yuru Camp anime aired. Lots of cameos from YC characters and locations in this episode), and food and wine.
