Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons Episode 1 and 2 - Well it’s definitely not boring and you can’t deny Ange is very Cross. A series that reveals the dragons they have to fight are scientifically called Dimensional Rift Attuned Gargantuan Organic Neototypes is definitely leaning into being comedic in a way I’m not sure fits with its prison exploitation movie setting. But Ange climbs out of her cockpit to shoot a dragon with a side arm and learned to fight by being really good at Lacrosse. Maybe force of personality is going to carry this?

Trigun Stargaze episode 19 Mind reader.

FLAG ONAs 6-13 (Complete. though it took a few episodes to hook me I found this to be a uniquely executed and poignant story, complete with quite the ending too.) 4/5

FLCL OVAs 1-6 (Complete. Another series I technically watched a long time ago but I wanted to properly watch it before experiencing the newer entries. As is, FLCL is its own brand of comedy and sci-fi that though overwhelming at times makes for a memorable watch.) 3.5/5
