Another watch of this classic as Lewis and I reviewed it on the Collateral Cinema podcast. I like VHD as much now as when I first watched it over 30 years ago.

The Dagger of Kamui

My Kickstarter disc arrived on Saturday so I watched it on Sunday, and the film looks great in HD, gotta love Rintaro's experimental style from this era. I like this film a lot, it's a good film but if it was 20 or so minutes shorter it could have been a great film imho.

Dark Gathering episodes 22-25
Real missed opportunity that I didn't watch this in the lead up to Halloween. Dark Gathering is a solid mix of battle shonen and supernatural horror that actually delivers on the spooks. Really looking forward to that second season.

Loved this, reminded me of the Intergalactic Lord anime.
Loads of fanservice. Mera stood out but has a bit of the preying mantis about her.
More seasons, please.
