My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 (English Dub) Episode 23

A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Episode 1 Rebirth.

Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus Episode 13 (Complete. Another very good installment that steadily progresses the story into its Final Arc with the newly announced film.) 4/5

Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra Episode 13 Mysterious man. (Complete. Though this was lacklustre and disappointing overall, this had the potential to be better than it actually was.) 2.5/5

Ruri Rocks
Episode 13 Future dreams. (Complete. An enjoyable and rather informative outing with it's Minerolgy concept lead by the series titular Nagi and her enthusiastic high-school helper.) 3.5/5

City The Animation episode 13 It’s time. (Complete. One of the more impressive comedy anime to come out in recent years with some real standout episodes. I hope a second season is on the cards.) 4/5

Gachiakuta
episode 12 Instrument.

One Piece episode 1145 Return to sender.

Ruri Rocks episode 13 Footsteps. (Complete. A nice slice of edutainment which was also an easygoing weekly Sunday watch.) 4/5

Saber Marionette J to X
episodes 17-26 (Complete. The Saber Maronette series has its high and low points overall, with the original being the best, and J to X the weakest entry respectively.) 3.5/5, 3/5, 3/5, 2.5/5

Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin episode 24 Ages. (Complete. Though uneven in both story and production quality at times, I would like to see a sequel to this and where the narrative could progress from here.) 3.5/5

Space Pirate Mito
episodes 1-13

Pseudo Harem ep 8
Grown up?

The Elusive Samurai (dub) eps 9-12 (complete)
This turns real 14th Century Japanese history into an action comedy shounen complete with annoying comedic characters and over the top bad guys, except the action stuff is quite realistic and very gory, it's a weird clash of tone. The main young characters are all fine though. Story nowhere near finished, but second season confirmed.
Nice art and animation.
7/10

My Deer Friend Nokotan
ep 12 (complete)
Shikaaaaaaaa!
Finally finished this after watching the first episode as it aired over a year ago! An absurdist comedy that wasn't so absurd as to be unfunny as some other shows have been, but equally not as hilarious as other comedies have been.
Art and animation were very good being WIT Studio.
7/10

Nearly done with (last) Summer on to (last) Autumn:

Blue Box (dub) eps 1-3
Liking this a lot so far. Romance, Sports and smattering of humorous moments, whats not to like?

Ranma ½ (2024) (dub) eps 1-3
You can see the similarities with Urusei Yatsura especially with the wacky characters, but so far it's equally less annoying and less funny!

Detectives These Days Are Crazy! ep3-12 [end]

Didn't expect this to be the one show of the season that I'd see to the end, but here we are. I always assumed it would have done more with its premise, but it seemed content to just amble along as a light-hearted comedy, with the characters doing odd-jobs, much in the mould of Gintama. Probably not one that I'm likely to remember in any great detail, but it had some good gags (the attempt to hold a wedding in the midst of a typhoon being a real standout) and, having been through some very trying times of late, it always took my mind off things.

Catch Me at the Ballpark! ep4-5

Probably go back to this for some light viewing now that Detectives is finished, but it feels like something best taken slowly. Its very rose-tinted view of trips to the sports game feels like it might get a little grating in large doses.

Lupin III: Part 2 ep63-64 (English dub)

64 was another case of 'nice idea, bungled the execution', with Lupin being challenged to rob a famous jewellery store on live television. There's an amusing race to the bottom between the store owner and Fujiko for who can manage the most withering put-down (needed a shojo slap though), but the eventual solution was just too goofy for me.

63, on the other hand, was absolutely great - probably one of the real highlights of Part 2 so far. Fujiko tries to convince Lupin to rob a dying billionaire who wants to leave his money to charity, only for Lupin to take the moral high ground and refuse, this one sees plenty of fun love/hate backstabbing inside Lupin's gang, culminating in a truly farcical robbery attempt at the end. You could have loaded this one into The Woman Called Fujiko Mine without changing much.

Remembered to watch Mother's Basement video from last Summer to see if I missed anything like with Train to the End of the World from last Spring. This one peaked my interest:

Mayonaka Punch eps 1-3
A YouTuber NewTuber gets thrown off her channel by her, now, ex-friends due to her actions. She decides to go solo, but it doesn't go well. One night she meets a potential new group to work with, the only thing is they are vampires! Seems funny enough to continue with.

Pseudo Harem ep 9
Sense and Sensibility.

ATRI -My Dear Moments- eps 6 & 7
Memories and emotions.

Blue Box (dub) eps 4-6
Qualifiers, Aquarium and discovery.

Ranma ½ (2024) (dub) eps 4-6
2 new insane characters show up.
