Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 2 episode 24 To the moon. (Complete. Part 2 manages to maintain the momentum of this final arc and delivered some emotional highs especially towards the end. Looking forward to Part 3 next year.) 4/5

Rumiko Takahashi Anthology episode 9-13 (Complete. This did exactly what the title suggests and presented a series of standalone storylines from mangaka Rumiko Takahashi. Not every story was equally entertaining but it evened out to a solid watch.) 3.5/5

Super Electromagnetic Robot Combattler V - Episodes 38 - 45

Apart from some sporadic silliness involving Kinta and Chie, this has been a very good run of episodes, with possibly some of the best of the series so far.

An magical girl OVA from the final, late 90's, glory days of cel animation that I had a great time watching. Only 30 minutes long but it packed so much in and looked awesome too, it even made me want to go and watch more magical girl anime!

Kaiju No. 8 - Episode 22

I enjoyed this episode and it felt like it was getting Kaiju No. 8 back on track.

Certainly a different type of cliffhanger!
Didn't feel quite as cohesive as the first season and thus not quite as good overall, but still very entertaining.
Art and animation continued to be very good.

There isn't any in Devilman, though it does have strange designs that will probably make up for it.

Regarding the comparison (spoilers for Devilman Crybaby [as the OVAs don't go that far]) - both titles end with an "end of the world" scenario with a lot of violence, death, sex etc though Devilman takes its time whilst Urotsukidoji goes right into it.
 
Urotsukidōji II: Legend of the Demon Womb (Japanese audio) - Film

I went in realising that something definitely happened in the production as it's not a direct continuation, but thank goodness the Liner Notes on the Discotek release explained this because I was baffled during the film. Turns out, the first OVA series/first film adapted the manga's story and because it did really well both in Japan and internationally they wanted to continue the franchise so the producers basically said "what if the story in the first one had a few more extra days out of nowhere where they did something else instead" and behold we got this. And also Hitler.

Its a decent film, though the tone is different to the previous film, but its jarring if you don't know the context beforehand. I also don't like the subtitle as I don't see any reference to Demon Womb at all so I wonder if they chose that name because its probably more relevant in the later sequels.
