As peculiar as the premise continues to be I found the overall execution for this second season, like the first, fairly harmless and easy to watch on a weekly basis, and I won’t deny plans to watch the third season when it comes either.) 3/5

You can clearly see Brave Raideen's DNA in Combattler V with the way Nagahama builds on the 'human drama' elements from Raideen but also Tomino's comedy touches as well.
Kaiju No. 8 - Episode 21
The last few episodes have felt rather unfocussed in the general direction of the story but hopefully they're part of building towards a cohesive conclusion.

I knew nothing about this before watching it and it's really not my thing but I did like some of the 90's artwork.
Camelot of Love and Swords
This was a fun OVA, very simple (and a bit silly tbh) and it entertained me for 45 minutes. The animation and artwork was interesting, clearly anime but just different.

This was very disappointing. It was sooo dull and had very lazy use of exposition in latter part of the film. I think Kenji Kamiyama's TV work is fantastic but he does seem to struggle with creating films. The animation was horrible as well, the character movement was very unnatural and I found it distracting.
These two episodes directed by Masami Obari are the two best episodes of Bubblegum Crisis imho.

DAN DA DAN 2nd Season episode 24 Unexpected insider. (Complete. Much like the first season I thought this was solid enough, and with that cliffhanger am interested in seeing that will come from season 3.) 3.5/5

Bâan - The Boundary of Adulthood (dub)
An isekai/reverse isekai following a character from our world moving to a fantasy world and another going the other way.
I felt story wise the reverse isekai was the weaker half (she leaves home for some reason, fails to adapt and just gives up a goes home again!), but as a short there's not much time to establish much. It's very pretty and the animation is very good and the soundtrack is by Kevin Penkin (need I say more? OK, it's beautiful!)
