Dropkick on my Devil! episode 5 For an ex angel Pekora sure is stubborn. Wasn't expecting that blender scene either.

Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory (Dub) episode 12 (Complete. Despite some low points here and there, as well as some lacklustre animation, this managed to be a season worth the 13 year wait, sporting a great climax and an ending that will hopefully see a continuation not too far into the future.) 4/5

Holmes of Kyoto episode 5 The mystery here only gets introduced around halfway through and we instead get some insight into Kiyotaka's character.

Kakuriyo -Bed&Breakfast for Spirits- episode 19 Aoi and Ginji bonding is always sweet, though I doubt it's a relationship that the series will develop beyond good friends.

Phantom in the Twilight episode 5 Wasn't expecting an emotional episode, but this was pretty effective.

Steins;Gate Zero (Dub) episode 14 Well I didn't see that reveal and subsequent fight coming, though I feel like there were clues I had missed.

KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! episodes 1-10 (Complete. A goofy, lighthearted and meme-worthy series that was a fun little Isekai with fun and unique characters. I don't think I liked this quite as much as some, but still enjoyed it regardless.) 3.5/5

Kinji Fukasaku's BWHAH: Police Tactics (Film) The fourth entry in the Battles series, this film brings in a further involvement from law enforcements which is neat, and has some great action scenes. I always liked how gritty and haphazard they were, it added in realism where modern films would make it slick and overpolished. Only one more entry to go.) 3.5/5

Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory (Dub) Episode 11 - 12 (Complete)
Definitely worth the 13 year wait for this dispite the low points here and there not to mention some lacklustre animation throughout. Hopefully a continuation isn't to far off in the future. 7.5/10

Magical Girl Raising Project (Dub) Episode 2

MAKEN-KI! (Dub) Episode 6 - 10

Revue Starlight (Dub) Episode 1

Dropkick on My Devil!! (Sub) Episode 5
Dispite being a ex angel Pekora sure is stubborn. The whole blender scene with Jashin was pretty funny.

Encouragement of Climb 3rd Season (Sub) Episode 6

Holmes of Kyoto (Sub) Episode 5
More insight about Kiyotaka's character.

Joshi Ochi! 2-kai kara Onnanoko ga… Futte Kita!? (Sub) Episode 6 (Uncensored)

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits (Sub) Episode 19
Always nice nice to see more sweet moments of Ginji and Aoi bonding but I can't see their relationship developing past that of good friends and we get more insight into Ranmaru's character.

One Room Season 2 (Sub) Episode 5

Phantom in the Twilight (Sub) Episode 5
Emotional ep, but pretty effective.

We Rent Tsukumogami ep 3
Not particularly focused on a mystery this week, although there is a small one in the subplot, but on fixing a relationship between mother and daughter.

Island ep 6
Bit of a nothing episode apart from a bit of a revelation at the end.

Hanebado! ep 6
Tournament time! Focuses a bit more on Riko who's been a bit in the background for most of the season.

Kakuriyo - Bed and Breakfast for Spirits - ep 19
Aoi takes on another burden. The part at the shrine and about the curse was very reminiscent of parts of Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.

Encouragement of Climb s3 e6
Aoi tries to catch up to Hinata by trying coffee.

Holmes of Kyoto ep 5
Aoi doesn't do much in this episode!
Oh, and Holmes finds his Moriarty.

Ping Pong: The Animation eps 1–11 (complete) + BD extras
This... was quite different to what I was expecting.

I'd consider myself a pretty big Masaaki Yuasa fan, but I could just never get on the wavelength of this. In every episode, I could never seem to follow the flow of events well enough to ever second-guess where things might go next. The characters' motivations, insecurities and hang-ups also remained a puzzle to me, and I felt like I was supposed to somehow already know these things about them even though they hadn't been covered in the story. I really didn't feel like I knew the characters any better come series' end than I did before even watching.

A sports anime where it's difficult to find anyone to root for is a difficult prospect, and this is to all intents and purpose a sports anime. I... think. 😅

@Patient-X: I'll be fascinated to hear your thoughts on this when you get around to watching it, bud. :)

I reckon it'll also be interesting to compare this to Vexille director Fumihiko Sori's live-action film, which I also own, on DVD.

Plus:
Yuru Camp episodes 5+6
Can't seem to go wrong with this. :)

Steins;Gate 0 ep 14
Didn't pick this up last time, I was too busy thinking Kagari might be a clone of Kurisu.
Kagari must have been brainwashed/programmed as part of what ever process she went through at the end of the last episode, and that is why she pulled the gun on Suzuha. Although how Suzuha could forget about that is beyond me.

Attack on Titan s3 e3

Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion ep 5
A little bit of backstory for Kuchii and more skirmishes with the Mongols.

Overlord III episode 5 A decent action packed episode with a cute aftermath.

Last Exile episodes 1-14

Kinji Fukasaku's BWHAH: Final Episode (Film) The final entry in the BWHAH saga (until Fukasaku made a new trilogy a few years later.) This was unfortunately an alright but unremarkable conclusion to an otherwise solidly enjoyable set of films.

With recurring main character Hirono out of the picture for most of the film it just felt a bit disjointed and less engaging overall without a central character to follow.

That being said the franchise overall was a good ride and I can see how it influenced later works such as the Yakuza game franchise with all its twists, turns and betrayals.) 3/5

Katana Maidens ~ Toji No Miko eps 8-12
Seems like the first cour wraps up the story pretty well as if it were a 1 cour show, I guess the second cour has a different story? Or possibly the big bad wasn't fully defeated and comes back again. The episode names suggests something like this will happen.
The fight scenes mostly appear to be CG and not too shabby either apart from when the final boss? changes into her second form, when it looks like a video game monster (I'm talking P4 era not even P5 era).

Free! Dive to the Future episode 5 A more lighthearted breather episode after last weeks drama that focuses on the the other characters and their swimming-related challenges.

Last Exile episodes 15-26 (Complete. It's nice to sit back and enjoy an anime with a sense of adventure that remains consistent throughout. The only times I felt that LE was losing me was a small romance subplot in the middle and the main antagonist who was pretty thin on personality.

The CGI was pretty ropey throughout, but this did come out in 2003 and reflects this. Something else worth praising is the amazing OP "Cloud Age Symphony" by Shuntaro Okino, it's a rare time that I've heard mixed things about the sequel but will get around to watching it eventually.) 4/5

Log Horizon episodes 1-13
