Giant Robo Ginrei Special - Episodes 1 - 3 (Final)

An at best amusing and at worst somewhat incoherent spin off of Giant Robo, and given the sheer brilliance of the main series I found it a rather unnecesssary addition if I'm perfectly honest.

While it's possibly a symptom of my aversion to the frustrating drip-feed that is weekly-airing anime, I'm finding it annoyingly slow.
You just need to watch enough weekly shows that by the time you're finished, you're ready to start again. :p
Not as much of a joke as you thought it was. With me it's not even weekly shows that would apply to: I took so long to watch Redline and Spice and Wolf II that I got kinda lost and may need to start over :p
Ah yes, I forgot about that. Attention span too short to watch movies, too long to get by on 20 minutes of show per week... do the words "awkward git" mean anything to you? :p

Mirai Nikki ep 14 - I used to be a Future Diary holder like you, but I took an arrow to the knee *runs away*
Ahahahaha, I can't believe that didn't come to me while I was watching it.

With work giving me basically, time to do whatever i please at work overnight, basically because someone has to be there to oversee the shop while it gets a new floor put in, i got some well deserved time to watch some stuff. Took me long enough, eh.

I've been busy with a couple of series specifically, Escaflowne, Gundam Age and I'm going to get Planetes finished as well.

Gundam Age, i'm now fully up to date with. I was never really sure what i was going to think about it at first, but as the series has gone on, it's gotten a lot better. It's suppost to be aimed a little more at a younger audience this time, right? It feels like, they disregarded that at about episode 10, but maybe i'm just viewing it wrong.

What has caught me from the get go though, and even more so after catching up, is how close it actually resembles the original Mobile Suit Gundam in places. I mean, the start of the series shouts it from the top of its lungs and then with later episodes, even more so. For Episode 14 the battle with flit, desil and yurin has many striking resemblances to that of the one with Amuro, Lalah and Char. In fact you could say it was that battle.

Absolutely agree. And I agree with you about Episode 14, completely. I thought the series was surprisingly strong at first and tailed off a bit, but has come right up to its best in the last couple of episodes.

Yurin. ;_;

High School Of The Dead eps 1-2

I have no idea why I started to re-watch this. I already know that I don't have the time to keep up with it and I could easily spend my time either rewatching something a lot older, or something i've yet to start :\

Looks smashing on blu-ray though, visually. Not in that way. I mean everythings very shiny. No wait, that's not...

Mushi-shi episodes 1-3.

Mushi-shi has a strange dreamy quality to it. It feels lovely and relaxing to watch the episodes even if the Mushi are accidentally harming people.

First thing I did after watching this was to go buy Ally Kerr's album that the opening is from.

Started watching Planetes. It's pretty good, I like that it's basically a slice of lice drama just set in space. That girl is really annoying though...especially at the end of the will episode. Preachy much?
