Paranoia Agent: Episodes 1-12 (completed series)

Wow! Watched the first three discs all on Friday night, couldn't stop watching I was hooked first time in a while I watched this much of a series at once, finished the last disc on Saturday night.

Oh BTW! My Disc 1 and Disc 4 were fine no problems at all!

K-On! 9-11

Okay, although the episode count is lower than volumes 1-2, the content of the episodes is so much better. Azusa's relationship with the rest of the band was really cool, and the whole thing about Ritsu being ill and pouty about Mio's new friendship with Nodoka was much needed depth for the series.

One thing I have noticed though is...does the opening theme sound a bit too fast? Or is it just me?

I haven't seen K-On! but this is often the case with PAL releases and it's extremely jarring when you're used to the original. Most of the time, people don't know the songs so they don't mind that they're playing faster. I usually already own the soundtracks so if it's a song I like it bothers me constantly. It's part of why I value PAL releases lower than the original NTSC, even if the format has its fans.

I'll leave the full explanation to JPT who knows a lot more about it than I do :D

Shuffle Episode 22

Star Driver Episodes 12 & 13*

YuYu Hakusho Episodes 85 - 88

* Been enjoying Star Driver although there are many similarities with Revolutionary Girl Utena.

I've finally started Spice & Wolf 2 after getting bored waiting for my husband to finish deciding about watching the first season and syncing up. So far, so good, but the music in the first season seemed better.

It's one thing that you always seem to get the shows I want before me but now you're making the wait even more unbearable by saying tantalising things like this! :)

I hope my postman leaves me a red slip soon.

I had a feeling that was it. Usually I don't notice it (I don't with the ending theme Don't Say Lazy) but for some reason, it's really noticeable in the OP Cagayake! GIRLS.

Wholeheartedly agree - Blue Gender is a very good and massively under-rated series.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE - Episode 9

If this is the first of three arcs with different characters then it had better start to wrap this one up because the pace feels like a normal 50 episode show so far.

Result!!

@Rui
Enjoy. I'll agree the OP and ED were more memorable first series, but the series itself is still great. Different feeling to the original series but thats because its more focused on a few events than the timespan of the original.

it is really good. il tell ya why this series works, its because its believable, you get some sci-fi animes that gose over the top and and makes you think that couldn't happen but with blue gender it makes you believe things like *not over the top mechs* or * over the top villains but with the creatures called blue* but the blue aren't villains there creatures that see humans as a pain*

blue gender makes you believe and drags you in. this series needs more credit

I works both ways. I have among other things both seasons of Spice & Wolf on blu-ray waiting to be watched. There was a scratch on disc 1 of Star Driver and on disc 1 of YYH season 4 so I have been watching them even though I have older purchases to watch.

Current viewing,

Shuffle Episodes 23 & 24

YuYu Hakusho Episodes 89 - 92

Shakugan no Shana Episode 1
