Mono: for Shiki, Do you really think that's here there? Or is Natsuno just imagining it all? I guess she's probably there, but I do wonder.

I think she is there as she was about to suck Tohru's blood and plus Tatsumi was with her

Yeah I think I agree that Tatsumi being there is kind of the thing that tips it. I don't think Natsuno has met Tatsumi yet? So he couldn't really be imagining him.

I also only found out the other day that the book that Shiki is based on is an homage to Stephen King's 'salem's Lot (one of few King books I hadn't read), so I started reading that.

Awesome :)

Doujin Work (all). Cute, though the live action scenes were better than most of the actual anime episodes.

Seto No Hanayome (part 1). Really liked this and feel vindicated for buying most of the CDs a few years ago. Comedy and thugs are, as always, a wonderful combination. Sun's dad is my favourite.

Gundam ZZ 1-5

Uhm...so far my opinion on it is that it makes a mockery of Zeta :(. But i heard it gets serious again after 20 or so episodes so i'll keep watching lol

Yeah, but Zeta does kinda deserve it.

If we can't laugh at ourselves then we're humourless bastards, and ZZ proved that kill 'em all Tomino was willing to take the piss out of himself to an epic extent. It is almost a parody of Gundam in it's early episodes, but if Gundam didn't deserve parodying by that point then I don't know what does. I will defend ZZ at every turn, as not only did it have me in stitches and make me care about even the stupidly cartoon-ish characters, but it had me glued to the screen for it's entire run which is more than I can say for any other full length Gundam series. And I like the other full length Gundam series'.

/doesn't really "get" the love for the tsundere
:O
Muwahaha

I don't mind a moody girl, but I do take issue with those who repay acts of kindness with sheer rudeness and/or a flying kick to the face. It gives me horrible flashbacks to Love Hina...
Ah, I see. I don't like that, unless you know that it's just part of a tsundere character.

Black Lagoon ep 7 - Damn, how did they make a scene with two people smoking turn out so hot? (pun somewhat intentional)

"" ep 8 - OK, so now I *do* have to watch the OVA series. I was a little worried that this series was not going to live up to expectations at times during the Nazi arc, but attack maids will make up for a lot of that.

Seitokai Yakuindomo ep 5 - I left it too long before writing this post, can't remember a thing about it. Knew that would happen one of these weeks.

Asobi ni Iku yo! ep 4 - Hmm, cats in heat, you don't say, bet that was a tough day at the episode planning meeting. Cool action though (this show has way more budget that it should have), and those little robots are awesome!

Fairy Tail ep 40 - Oh man, totally agree with Clouded, best fight so far by miles. Natsu looked totally boom with his scales forming, although there is a "hint" of Naruto in that. Erza also continuing to show that this series has better female characters than any other shounen fighting out there, imo.

Highschool of the Dead ep 5 - I actually think this is coming into its own as an anime more and more as it goes on, the fight on the bridge was great, and it's building up the sense of foreboding in things like Komuro's small bits of narration better than I thought it would compared to the manga.

Occult Academy ep 5 - Hmm, a strange one this week. There was almost no point to the episode apart from the last minute or so (unless they come back to OOPArts later), some of the characters looked a bit off-model at times, and it wasn't as funny as usual because there was too much Kozue. Interesting how they're taking the Maya/Fumiaki relationship, though.

Nurarihyon ep 5 - I really wish I'd been able to go on a club trip like this. :(

Bakemonogatari 12.

I'm at a loss. That was just the best goddamn thing. I'm now disappointed there are still three episodes to go as I very much doubt they could top that for a pitch-perfect ending.

/gush.

Black Lagoon ep 11 & 12 - "****ing Irish". The first season really ramped up towards the end, these two episodes were fantastic, left me itching to carry on with the next lot. The interplay between Revy and Shenhua was tip-top, and the action was as good as advertised.

Strike Witches ep 5 - Lucchini showing Maria around seemed to go on for loooooong, possibly because Lucchini isn't really the most interesting of the witches and is played with an absolutely detestable voice (I have a pretty high tolerance for annoying voices, but hers gets to me for some reason). The rest of the episode was cool though, some very cute moments with the rest of the girls, especially Perrine. Eila is also super awesome, just coming to love her more and more.

Giant Killing ep 18 - Really, really impressed with how this series has gone about handling its subject matter. A serious soccer series (yay! We're inventing tongue twisters as we go) comes with all sorts of pitfalls, but I really like the way they bring in the other managers' personalities, and the way they attempt to deal with the nitty-gritty of day to day soccer is much more convincing than I thought it might be.

Uraboku ep 17 - OK, this was probably the best episode of the series so far imo. In fact, it's a shame they couldn't have stretched the past events out into at least a two episode arc. Everything starts to go loooooong again once you get back to the now-too-many characters in the present day.

RAINBOW ep 6 & 7 - Just starting to catch up with this, you really have to be in the mood to take it on I think. The antagonists are so sickeningly evil you wonder how they can get away with such 2D characters in an ostensibly higher-than-average-brow story, but in terms of providing a feeling of discomfort you can't fault it. The look and feel of the show is very consistent, I'm just not sure how much scope and potential for variation it is showing at the moment for its overall narrative.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Ep58-64 (completed)
What a series. Having not read the manga it was a whole new experience for me. Loved the original anime but this re-tell has just blown me away. There's so little I can fault with the series that they're not even worth even mentioning. Great animation, story, and characters. Just a great anime that has made it's way into my short list of 10 out 10 ratings. Now I'm just sad it's over. TT_TT
Ah well.... guess Black Lagoon is next on the cards. XD

Giant Killing Episode 1-3 - Even in the early episodes of training, it really nails the football atmosphere, the OP even does that straight away. Looking forward to watching this very mucho.

Seitokai Yakuindomo 3-4 - So......many......sexual......innuendos.

I couldn't agree with this more, the OP is especially good, but the chanting, the action on the pitch, even the scenes in England at the start weren't too bad.
