What a way to start a series. I really like absurd series like this.

Sword Art Online II complete

Another really enjoyable series. The number of ways the creators come up with to make the virtual world have real world consequences is rather astonishing! The change of pace and direction for the final arc was also really interesting.

Kizumonogatari Part 3: Reiketsu (Japanese audio) - Film

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-Kun episode 8 Dreams and seduction?

We Never Learn: BOKUBEN Season 2 episode 8 Sink or swim.

Monster episodes 69-74 (Complete. A great thriller that made use of a big but not overly large cast and had some great moral dilemmas and backstory. The final few episodes did a decent-and violent- job of concluding the story. A shame, also, that this isn’t easily available on home media.) 4/5

Doctor Who: Genesis of the Daleks
A classic, though not a story I regard as highly as others. That being said, Michael Wisher is electrifying as Davros and it would be the best Dalek story for a long time (Neither Death nor Destiny are ones I regard highly.)

Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail ep3-4

Having been slightly inclined to throw Black Lagoon under the bus in favour of Jormungand in recent years, I didn't appreciate how much I actually missed it until I started on Roberta's Blood Trail. It's a shame that they've never animated any more of it, but even if they never do, this feels like a fitting last hurrah for the anime.

Ergo Proxy ep14-15

The one thing I remember hearing people talk about with Ergo Proxy is the gameshow episode, and oh boy, it did not disappoint. Interesting to note Sayo Yamamoto was on directing duties again for that one.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Episode 8
The art of seduction and a Clara focused episode.

Watched quite a lot this weekend.

Dramatical Murder
Nothing special and more style over substance. It was a bit wierd to read afterwards that it's based on a boys love game when there are zero romantic plotlines in it. In fact the only time theres any hint of BL the main character states that guys shouldn't be kissing. I mean why adapt a BL story if you're going to erase the LGBT+ side of the story?

Eromanga Sensei
Kinda weird but pretty funny show.

Goblin Slayer
Brutal but brilliant. Great animation. Interesting characters with some very dark backstories. I love how people are only referred to by titles rather than names and how we have a main character who is just some guy but is a badass when it comes to the slaying of goblins not because hes some isekei superhero but because hes spent years building those skills.

It's a very clever way to deliver some exposition, isn't it?

It's also an eye-opener (or should that be closer?) to see Vincent start with his episode 1 character design again. You've got some more really clever diversions like that outing coming up, Prof. A couple in particular really stick in the memory, just as much as the gameshow episode.
